Matakata Tipis was the perfect solution for stress free wedding planning. Matt's packages ticked so many jobs off our list, it was great that the Tipi was set up the day before the wedding and didn't need much else to look awesome and house our guests when the night got chilly. Best customer service out of all the tipi companies we contacted!

Exceptional quality tipis and service that comes along with it. We were so happy with the tipi set up for our wedding day we couldn’t have chosen anything better. Such a beautiful tipi, so sturdy, spacious and perfect for any type of weather. The sides came down for the cooler temperature during the night and was a great wind barrier. Absolutely perfect! The quality of the setup and furniture was outstanding, the tipi impeccable and all of guests were beyond impressed- even more so given that we were in a paddock in the middle of nowhere! You would be silly to use any other NSW company for these services - we spent a lot of time doing due diligence on them all and our exceptions were beyond exceeded with Matakata!Matt was an outstanding person to work with. I was in correspondence through email and phone with Matt for over a year. During that time Matt was extremely prompt and responsive to all our requests, nothing was too big or small! We were essentially able to tailor our package to the exact specification we dreamed up and Matakata were able to deliver with exceptional results!We were constantly updated and reassured in the lead up to the day- there was certainly no grey area regarding anything! We hired Matakata to put up a Sperry tent marquee for our wedding reception. Matt and Leanne were easy to work with leading up to the day and the team were super-efficient at getting it up before the big day and taking it down the day after in very cold weather. The marquee was perfect for our reception with the addition of the furniture and the lighting that helped add an extra sparkle to our wedding day. It made it look so classy and we couldn’t be happier with what the team put together for our big day. Definitely recommend them for your big day!

When my wife told me she wanted a tipi for our wedding I thought she was joking but then she told me all about Matt from Matakata and all the amazing options available and we were both sold! From the very beginning Matt was incredibly patient and understanding and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. At every bump in the road, Matt worked with us to make sure our event could happen, even driving several hours out of his way to come look at the site in the middle of a storm! Matakata were fantastic value and provided so many different options from setup to styling. No other company even came close in their level of attention to detail and Alannah and I could not be more happy that we had your magical tipi as a part of our special day!
