This is the most amazing community! I was initially nervous about starting a martial art, but the teachers at Aikido Shudokan are so knowledgeable and supportive that I felt immediately comfortable in all classes. I can't recommend highly enough.

Just fantastic cannot recommend this place highly enough. amazing instructors, friendly supportive community and great dojo with large training area. Have watched our 8 year old flourish through his involvement in Aikido Shudokan.

I've practiced Tae Kwon Do with a highly rated instructor from Korea and really enjoyed it. Despite this, Aikido was something that I've wanted to pursue for a long time because I thought it could avoid brutality if conflict was inevitable and the appeal of it's scientific, almost graceful approach to biomechanics. Thankfully I've not had to test the former but have found so much more under the tutelage of an outstanding Sensei of the art and it's traditions who is supported by a welcoming community of like minded students and instructors!

I have been training at this dojo for over 3 years. This is a fantastic place to learn aikido, with world class instructors; who take the time with newbies and senior students alike, helping them grow into strong aikido practitioners.They have a marvelous kids classes starting from 6+ up and quarterly social events for the kids also eg rock climbing.Highly recommend if you looking for personal development and to meet some nice folks as well :)

As a New Year’s resolution 2 years ago I decided on getting fit and learning a new martial art form. Shudokan Aikido ticked all the boxes and the instructors are really world class. If you want a challenge then I suggest you get along to sample what it’s all about.

A totally awesome place to train with 1st class instructors. If you want to learn the real art of Aikido then there is no other place to train but the famous Aikido Shudokan.

Excellent teachers, challenging and enjoyable classes. The children's classes are good too, the kids have great fun while learning Aikido, discipline, and getting some exercise.
