Jared and the RedKem team recently completed an extension and renovation of our previously small, dark and poky post war home and the outcome has exceeded our expectations, to say the least.From our first meeting with Jared (after years of meeting with various other architects, designers and builders) through to signing the contract we felt confident we had found the right builder and from the commencement of work through to handover and beyond, we are happy (and relieved!) to say that we were never in doubt. The whole process was straightforward and seamless and throughout every stage of the project, we felt our ideas were valued, our questions and concerns were addressed and we were respected as clients.Jared has carefully curated a team of ace tradies and professionals who he knows he can count on to maintain RedKem’s high standards and impressive reputation. They also happen to be decent humans and it was a pleasure to entrust them with drastically improving our space (while they happily fielded questions from an impromptu audience of any children who happened to be on site, or over the fence!).A big shout out to Sam for his great design skills and uber quick turnaround time and to Craig (site manager extraordinaire!) for his approachability, relaxed manner and willingness to calmly and promptly answer questions and resolve any issues. They say patience is a virtue and these guys have it in spades … we certainly put them to the test on that front! Apologies for sending the longest emails and text messages in the history of the world (and thanks for reading ... or at least pretending you did). ;-)Long story short, we would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone that is embarking on a building/renovating journey. Thanks RedKem, you are the real deal!

Jared and the team at RedKem are amazing. We were looking for advice on a renovation and called a few companies. Jared was extremely responsive, visited our house and looked at our plans. He spent time working with engineering and his team to give us a realistic estimate which is what we needed to move forward to the next phase. We ended up buying rather than renovating which is a shame as the videos he showed were great and showcased the quality of his work. We know we would have had a great house at the end!

Jared and his team were exceptional. We cannot thank the team enough for their reliability, responsiveness and professionalism. The finished product was exactly what we were hoping to achieve. Communication is so important when renovating and the team always kept us in the loop. They were also very flexible when we requested changes during the build. We would highly recommend RedKem.

From my first contact with Redkem they were easy to talk to and they listened. I wanted part of the house turned into a Granny Flat to take me into even older age, so, easy to clean, easy to reach, comfortable. What I got was all that in a stunning design. Jared and Susan responded to queries very quickly and once the renovation was started Craig was also readily available to answer queries. Everyone who worked on the project was friendly, efficient and professional. I can't recommend them highly enough.Thank you so much Redkem team.

Jared and the team at RedKem Constructions took up the challenge of modernising and extending our 1970’s home.We were originally unsure of whether to move to a new house or renovate. Jared guided us through the decision-making progress in favour of renovating, and then recommended a building designer who met us on site. He came up with a terrific solution and the decision was made to renovate.Jared and his RedKem team are a polished outfit. These guys are exceptional. I am from a construction background and I had convinced myself that the experience was going to be a nerve-wracking one. Once the renovation started and I saw how RedKem operated, my worries began to diminish, and they were soon completely gone.RedKem have an amazing crew. Their site manager never stopped letting us know what was happening and the site construction team were first class. We cannot thank the whole team enough for delivering the build exactly on time and completing it to the highest standard. Jared often said that his goal is to run his company differently to other building companies. To us that meant that no topic raised or anything that we questioned along the way was dismissed or brushed away. We had a great feeling of collaboration throughout the entire journey. When we moved a few goalposts and changed some directions they worked with us. When it came to quality, they were constantly checking that we were happy with how the build was shaping up. It is a testament to this approach is that the tidy up at the end was a surprisingly short list. The completed project is exactly what was presented on the drawings.I you are thinking of renovating, you must give RedKem a call. We contracted RedKem for our house raise and renovation earlier this year. From the start Jared was easy to correspond with, reliable and ready to work with us to make things achievable. Throughout the renovation the whole team was pleasant and hardworking, with the carpentry team demonstrating exceptional workmanship. When hurdles arose Jared and our site manager Craig were very responsive, solution oriented and keen to ensure we were happy with the outcome. A renovation is a huge undertaking, and it is essential to have complete trust in your builder. We definitely had that with Jared and his team from RedKem.They completed a significant renovation of the downstairs of our 1976 high set home early in 2022, transforming the space from a dated, 1980s hodgepodge, to a modern, contemporary living space that we will enjoy for years to come. Jared and his team have just completed a full downstairs renovation of our property, inclusive of a garage conversion, and we are thrilled with the result.From the moment we made contact with Jared, we knew he was the builder we wanted to work with on our renovation.
