Chris is a master artisan of slate roofing. My fragile 1883 slate roof was expanded using our original valley slates and gently coaxed into a seamless and sympathetic new extension that, due to Chris' skill, looks like it was always a part of the original building. He displayed excellent problem solving skills in making the most of the materials we had available. He worked tirelessly in terrible conditions - rain, hail and snow - and did so cheerfully, professionally and was always amiable with the many other trades onsite.Top Tier Slate Roofing has my highest recommendation.

Called and texted to confirm appointment for today Re-arranged work and son uni open day as with more big rain coming it was very important to get the leaks fixed, rang 15 minutes after he was due. Chris said ‘oh yeah Ive been caught up on site’. No oops I’m sorry just basically tough luck. Hung up on me when I said a text heads up would’ve been helpful. Sure things happen but equally we’ve got jobs and uni too and it’s not that hard to text you are not coming.
