Spent a great day at the rock pool and the playground. This place is well organised with clean change rooms, toilets and a small kiosk. The pool is clean and seems to be well maintained. There is a tiny (natural?) puddle for infants as well. Spacious grounds to put up your umbrella.

one of the beautiful beaches on the south coast has 2x rock pools which are absolutely safe for all, it has patrolled beach aswell, finding a car park could be a bit of a headache

Austinmer Beach
This is probably my favourite beach anywhere. It has everything. It is very scenic, it is quite enclosed, and has nit one, but two ocean pools to swim in. There are also food options across the road, a basketball court, and plenty of good walking tracks nearby. Its a great beach. It the warmer months, the carpark gets very busy. You may be better off getting a train.

Austinmer beach is a great beach to go to, it has clean toilets with showers, a couple of pools if the water is rough and a nice grassy area to relax in if you prefer to stay away from the sand, there is a playground for kids and a couple of cafes for coffee or brunch.

Austinmer Beach
This was the most beautiful beach I visited. The sand is so fluffy and clean and the water is clear. Best time to visit for a good view is at dusk or dawn.

Easily accessible from the south west of Sydney or Northern Illawarra. Popular family beach and baths with surf life saving patrol on hand. Food outlets just over the road, but head for Moore Street General if you want quality takeaway or eat in

Wonderful beach. Patrolled with playground and facilities. There is take away shop and restaurant across the road. Parking busy in summer. Take own shade as not much shade

Beautiful patrolled beach with two rock pools. There are tree covered areas for shade if needed and amenities close to the beach. Parking can get tricky, however, there is parking in the streets behind the shops if you are happy to walk a short distance. There is one cafe and one corner store for ice cream, drinks etc… it would have been nice if there was more variety, however, there are more in the neighbouring towns.

Lovely beach with ample parking, not crowded like other northern beaches. Most cafe closes by 4:30 but a minute drive got so many restaurants and pizza joints.
