Boronia Bowen Therapy

I have been to see Matthieu for three Bowen therapy sessions now for ongoing lower back and hip pain from an injury. A few days after each session I am feeling better and better each time and almost pain free after a very long time.

Mathieu is truly passionate about helping others.I felt reenergized after my treatment and much lower pain levels after just one visit.

I did not realise when I went to have a treatment from Matthew for lower back pain that he offered so much more than physical Bowen massage of the body. I believe, as he does, though we come from different schools of thought, that pain is a message, and we need to learn from it. It is possible to embrace it as a gift. We are all more than our physical bodies, more even than our thoughts and emotions. We are spiritual beings as well and when there are blockages, fears, emotional wounds, wrongful thinking, and past misdeeds, this will inevitably cause some sort of negative reaction that hopefully will allow us to stop and investigate the causes. We can re-set our purpose in life, and our values and thus grow as a person. Matthew’s healing hands, used as tools for his wisdom, allow for these changes to take place in a deep part of our beings. What an outcome! I went for pain relief for chronic back pain and left feeling inspired, humbled, and embraced by a loving universe. He is really a special healer.For potential clients, if you think all this is just so much mumbo jumbo, he does not ram his ideas down your throat. We are all more than our bodies even if some of us don’t think so it. Matthew works on the body and the underlying person, so it is a very special experience to get healing at both levels simultaneously. I thoroughly recommend him. It is a privilege to know him.

Had a great experience seeing Matthieu as my bowen therapist. Always came out of the sessions feeling a lot more calm and relaxed. I saw Matthieu in the lead up to giving birth and had a beautiful birthing experience.

Hard to find words that adequately describe Matthieu's abilities as a Bowen Therapist and healing practitioner. He is clearly totally committed to his craft and gives his 100%+ during a session. Ever so grateful to have 'found' Matthieu and will be returning for more work very soon. Do yourself a favour and treat yourself to one or more of Matthieu's treatments - it will change your life for the better. A true modern day Merlin...!

After going to my doctor with my painful hip she informed me that X-rays would be of little use..but just to take over the counter pain killers...I couldn't do anything except for walking...no bending no sitting...so on the same day I rang around for some Bowen therapy...nobody had an appointment except for Matthew...well 45 minutes later the pain was halfed...that night I slept 9 hours! In 2 days the pain was gone without any medication.. I am so grateful to Mathew and his Bowen therapy!

I was looking for a different form of therapy for my neck and shoulder issues. After reading Matthieu's reviews I booked an appointment.Not only has Matthieu helped me with my neck and shoulders it is a whole body experience.The range of movement in my knees - which has been limited for a long time - has increased greatly. And other areas of pain and restriction have been greatly reduced.I have had my second appointment and booked a third.I definitely recommend seeing Matthieu for treatment

What a refreshing experience! After spending countless sessions with Physiotherapist's and Chiropractors without great results I started searching for an alternative way to fix my back issues. I was told to try Bowen and lucky I did as Mathiew has been amazing. Not only has he helped me with old ailments in my body he has transformed my back. Mathiew has been so good many of my friends and colleges now visit him and rave about his great ability to heal the body. Highly recommend a visit!

I recently saw Matt for lower back pain and tight hamstrings. I have had tight hamstrings for years and have had many chiro sessions but nothing seems to work. The first treatment I had with Matt gave me so much relief in my hamstrings, I could touch my toes without any resistance for the first time in years, it was incredible. I have since been for regular treatment with Matt and never leave feeling disappointed. He has a very soft energy and I always leave his sessions feeling much calmer and clearer.

Matthieu is an experienced and professional practitioner. I first tried Bowen Therapy a few weeks ago when I could not get into physio when my SI joint went. I was twisted in pain and Matt was able to fit me in a few hours later.I wasn't sure what to expect and was hoping it wouldn't be a strong adjustment. I was happy with how gentle he was and how effective the treatment was. I was able to walk out standing straight up but the area was still tender.He advised to drink lots of water, take short walks and it would settle in a few days. It gives some immediate relief but does take a few days to settle. I was surprised with how sore I was the next day as it seemed like he didn't do too much but that also happens when muscles go back to where they are supposed to be.I have been going for a few weeks now and other sore areas like my neck and shoulder are also being treated. I have seen a constant improvement and am going to move to longer between appointments soon. I can highly recommend this treatment for pain relief, especially ailments due to stress.
