Zenshin karate is the best dojo to learn karate . The instructors are very professional, learning karate gave me alot of confidence in life.Unfortunately having multiple surgery's on my spine and knee I had to stop. I will go back and train at zenshin tomorrow if not for my health issues .

I'm so grateful I took up karate in 1989, to learn some self defence, but I have learnt so much more! Hanshi is a very professional instructor with a wealth of knowledge and skill. He is always more than happy to support any of his students with their training and to achieve their goals. Zenshin Karate is a must for anyone wanting to learn martial arts, self defence, improve their fitness or self confidence!

I have trained with Hanshi for over 30 years and he has always run a very professional dojo. The instruction is first class whether you are a beginner or a black belt. Hanshi ensures that every student has the best opportunity to progress and improve according to their own abilities. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to start training no matter what age.

Zenshin Martial Arts Academy has been our family's choice for over 20 years and we love it! Hanshi Mervyn Nelis, our amazing instructor, teaches us karate with passion and professionalism. He also shares with us the rich philosophy and history of this martial art. We learn how to defend ourselves, stay fit, and have fun at the same time. He also helps us set goals, stay committed, and develop leadership skills. Zenshin Martial Arts Academy is more than just a place to learn karate, it's a place to grow as a person.
