Douglas River
One of the best fresh water swimming holes I’ve been to in Tasmania. People find it hard to get here and I ain’t going to explain where it is as not to many know about it. You can camp along side this river and a decent car park at entrance, there is a nice big aqua water hole you see first, but if you do the 90min walk up around the hill you will reach the gorge water falls ect up there well worth the walk even on a 30degree day as there is nothing better than being over heated on a walking track and diving straight in untouched fresh cold water.
