Was here for Sunday yum Cha... hmmmmm after sitting around 1hr waiting for food decided to leave hungry. Food is very slow to come out and lacks variety. Nice restaurant good service. “But no food one”. Highlight would have to be the liu sha bao (流沙包)... molten salted egg custard.but be prepared to wait at least 15min after ordering. Everything you order requires min 15min.I can’t remember the last time I was here ... it’s probably better that way...

This place is shamefully under-rated and has far less business than it deserves. Maybe because the restaurant is so hard to find and it is easy to drive right past it on Princess Highway.Fried whitebait: 5/5. Like fish and chips but much better.Hum Soi Kok: 4/5. Pastry a little too thick, but texture was perfect and the filling inside had the right amount of 5 spice powder.Shin Chook Kuen (vegetables wrapped in tofu skins): 5/5. Perfect.Shumai: 5/5. Nothing to complain about.Chicken Feet: 5/5. Subtly flavoured, perfectly cooked.Radish pancakes: 5/5. Nicely fried with a great contrast between crispy skin and soft insides.Lotus leaf wrapped glutinous rice: 4/5. Unfortunately it was overcooked and the rice was soggy.Salted egg buns: 5/5. Excellent.Ambience: very few customers so we got a lot of attention. This place is bright, clean, and the staff are friendly.Downsides: not as much variety as other dimsum places. If you are looking for offal and more interesting" dishes

the dishes are above average, although those were not the best. Good presentation, good service, and good atmosphere. Highly recommended for someone who likes Yum Cha lunch.

Excellent food, however the customer service by the short arrogant waiter at the front is appalling. Easy to lose regular customers bcos of his attitude and behaviour

Exploring local food and found this place for Sunday Yum Cha. Food are quite good, but on the salty side for me. The two steamed dumplings we ordered were so big and tasty. Semame prawns are very small and i can hardly taste prawns. Trip was smelly, chicken feet was very good. For dessert, the running egg york bun was delicious, but egg tart wasn't up to my expectation. Strangly some dish comes in three and some comes in two. The waiting staff are efficient and friendly. We probably ordered a bit more than usual but two adults and one baby (2yr) end up paying $107 is very expensive for Yum Cha. We wouldn't mind come again fot steamed dumplings but order moderate amount.

Top rated in every way. My first time there. I've always just passed by and this time I made a turn into it. Wished I had done this sooner. I'll definitely go back when I'm that way.

This little gem tucked away in a corner of a major intersection in Chadstone/Oakleigh is worth a visit. If you want to snag a parking space, then maybe come for an early dinner. The food is really good, but parking can be a problem.I've been several times over the years here, and the food is always consistently good and satisfying. The service is sometimes a little slow and not always do the meals come out at the same time. There has been a time or two in the past when one person at the table was forced to eat ahead of the others because their meals weren't out, and it kind of defeats the purpose of going to eat out together, but of late, it has vastly improved. Perhaps they've changed hands, but either way, it's definitely better than years ago (so give it another try if that put you off coming here).I usually order the Battered Chicken in Mandarin Sauce (pictured here but without capsicum, which is why it looks bare), or the Chicken Fried Rice. Also pictured here is the Deep Fried Ice Cream which I love. Not the best I've ever had, but quite good for sure.I think the pricing of the food is good, the polite - if not spotty - service is good (overall), and it's not one of those restaurants where you're rushed out of the door. If you're looking for homey/comforting Chinese food, then this is the place to come!

We come here for yum cha often because the service is excellent. Staff are friendly and food is great. It is a smaller place than the bigger yum cha restaurants but atmosphere is good. They don't come around with trolleys of food but you order your meals. Still a good selection of yum cha foods. Food comes out hot which is good. We recommend this place.

Sadly, inedible. Just had the fried egg noodles with chicken. It looked pretty good when it arrived, but tastes horrible - the chicken and vegetables were swimming in this claggy thick syrup-like goo that had absolutely no taste whatsoever. It it what I imagine cornflour and water would taste like - not the marinade/sauce you want. Went straight in the bin - $22.50 I'll never get back :(
