Jack Horton Hair

My wife was beside herself when she arrived in the car after having visited this shop today. Whoever the manager was would do well to seek a seminar in customer service and interpersonal interactions. To have my wife berated by the manager to imply that she wasn’t a customer from what feels like prejudice against her appearance; whilst the helpful retail assistant was trying to help who in turn received curt and blatantly rude direction from the same manager about helping. I was uncomfortable hearing this, never mind actually being in the store. This isn’t for you the customer reading, more the owners to please be aware that you have a manager who isn’t doing your business any favours.

I have been getting my hair done at Jack Horton Hair for two months now and I have to say they are probably one of the best salons I've been to. Carmelo is my wonderful colourist and he is nothing short of amazing. He is calm and kind and keeps it real. I came in initially for a fix on a colour another salon had done. They fixed it and addressed my concerns when it didn't quite work. They made me comfortable and treated me with respect. I love the vibe of the salon too. The staff are all really harmonious with a really progressive and chill atmosphere. Being part of LGBTQ+ community feels safe at this salon. That's a big thing for a lot of people like me. Jack is dedicated and has a can-do attitude toward everything. I've had great conversations with Carmelo and the delightful Lara. She fills the room with giggles and I notice everyone seems at ease in the salon. Carmelo recently worked wonders on my hair and took a lot of time, effort and energy into getting it right on the day. He is a hard worker and his attention to detail makes him an excellent technician. I don't write reviews lightly so take my words for what they mean and if you're in the area or looking to branch out to a new team I would highly recommend Jack Horton Hair. Thank you team! I know I'm particular but I know you keep it real and do the utmost. :)

Beautiful people in a beautiful saloon creating beautiful hair everytime :) I've been coming here for years and absolutely love all the blonde hair colours that Elle and Lara have created for me. The haircuts have been fantastic everytime as well. Highly recommend :)

I have been coming here for years, and I usually see Jack. I think I wrote a review for how fab he is years ago! (He is indeed, fabulous!). This time I booked on a Tuesday when Jack isn't in, so I happened to see the lovely Kurt. Kurt was just as amazing! He spent time getting to know my needs, lifestyle, what would suit my face shape etc. He gave me the most wonderful cut and colour and made me feel like a new person. He quotes as well, which is lovely because it doesn't make you feel awkward about asking for a price. He is a very professional and all round lovely human being, it made going to the salon a pleasure. I will definitely be back and be spreading the love! Jack still sees a few of my friends and I'm sure now Kurt will be feeling the love too. Thanks guys xx

From the moment our experience started with Jack, we were met with attention to detail and charisma. Jack was open about expectations, which makes all the difference rather than someone who will just lie to you what they can can achieve with your hair in its current state and then under deliver. I honestly am blown away at how well everything turned out and the service we received. Jacks entire team made us feel welcome and included the entire me and the overall outcome was far batter than I ever even imagined.

I was invited to Jack Horton hair by their stylist Stella for half a head of foils and styling.The salon experience was very professional and the overall outcome of my hair was amazing, Stella took her time and made sure to get the best results possible which I greatly appreciated.It was lovely to watch Jack use his knowledge in such a way to train Stella, no doubt she’ll become very successful with such an amazing boss and team by her side!I would definitely recommend Jack Horton Hair and their multiple stylists, especially Stella to anyone looking for a great experience.

Ellè/Coco you are awesome thank you sooooooo very much. I know it was the longest 6hrs but the results speak for them selves. You aged it. Hubby loves it took a lot of photos to show all the ladies that he works with.

Absolutely love my hair. The colour is incredible. Kim is a fantastic stylist and colourist, Harper was great on the toner. Jack Horton Hair has such a great vibe and team. A powerhouse of hair knowledge. Can’t wait for my next appointment. Outstanding.

Went there today to buy my hair products , never been so mistreated and unwelcome in my life ! The manager made me feel so uncomfortable, I don’t usually write reviews but this was an awful experience!
