OFF THE PLAN EXPERTSDalton Partners recently sold my development “Off The Plan” in Waratah. I was very impressed with how quickly buyers were found and their communication was excellent. We bought a house from Daltons 2 years ago that belonged to one of their staff members. It turned out to be a complete money-sponge of a lemon. While the house appeared beautiful, the sub floor & piers were all falling apart. They arranged a building report themselves which did not list this. They knew of rising damp issues & even had quotes to have this rectified. We were told by Andrew that the rising damp issues were all sorted.My key lesson - don't trust building reports, they are almost useless, especially when the vendor arranges them. Thanks for the bonus $100k bill guys.
