Absolutely disgusting customer service. I have been waiting for a call back from the service department for two weeks now. I have called back several times for an update on my request, each time having to wait on the phone for over half an hour only to be told, we'll look into it and give you a call back.... Anthony who I didn't realise is the Service Manager was the person I originally dealt with. He kept me waiting in store for close to 40 minutes before I said I had to go. He said he would send through a quote via email.... Still nothing. If he is the manager, no wonder the rest of the service department's customer service is so woeful. Suggest going to a more professional dealership. We spend good money at these dealships and they are certainly not cheap. Some decent customer service would be the least they could offer.

Just had my Hilux serviced this morning. They were able to book it in quickly and did the job quickly. Very friendly staff especially the lady who dropped me home in the courtesy van. The quote for the work was about 200 dollars cheaper than another Toyota dealer. I recommend this place.

There were two things that were so disappointing about this service provider. First, they completely did the wrong service. My car was supposed to get its 140,000 km service but they did the 150,000 one without telling me. When I noticed and complained about it, they (Jakob) completely ignored and didn’t give me a convincing answer or an apology at least. The other issue was that I received my car so dirty with no courtesy car wash which I have always received from other Toyota Service providers. Again when I reminded them about this issue, I was told that another 15 cars are waiting for car wash and that they cannot do it for me. I believe the customer satisfaction is not their priority at all and very unwilling to accept their mistakes. So disappointed with this Service provider.

The new car experience with New Town was great. Susan was very knowledgeable during the buying process and went out of her way to help when I collected the car, including explaining the electronics slowly! Thanks

The service team at New Town Toyota in Welshpool has got serious problems with their skills and customer management.Absolutely NO NO for anyone to go there and leave your vehicle to be worked on. Receptionist, front desk service reps are absolutely bad.I dropped my car for Express Service and they had car for 3 hrs for 1st month health check on the vehicle plus did not know that fitting car seats is something that they technicians do not have skills for.If I had option of giving zero or negative stars - I will give them for the way they are dealing which in turn is impacting Toyota image.

If I could give zero star for their service I would! I’m extremely disappointed of their car service and customer service! I booked car service with them last week and get the car back at the same day. There are oil stains on carpet at the driver side!!! Also, they just recommend me to change the parts instead of calling me if I want to change them before I get my car back. So I drive my car back when the car problems! Then I tried to follow up with the customer service representatives about the car issues and I told them that I have purchased warranty for the car, since then I never get replies from them either email or phone calls. And I really feel very uncomfortable to talk with them, they really have serious attitude issues!

.left a work vehicle with no brakes and not safe to drive! This is a bit of a saga with New Town. They have gone from great to very poor over six months. I escalated concerns on a service late last year that ended with a call from their new Managing Director who gave assurances it wouldn't happen again. Well it did it. And this time it was worse.They don't call when they inspect the vehicle prior to discussing repairs and findings. They just do the bare minimum then call to say the vehicles are ready with a list of concerns. This is the only place I know that operates like this. Normally a call to discuss repairs before proceeding with costing is standard. Not here!In the last instance we booked online, I then called the day before to confirm the brakes would be replaced as it was noted on their service prior. They confirmed verbally.On the day of I get a call saying the vehicle is ready to be picked up. I query the brakes and get told there's no record they were requested to be done. There is a note by today's mechanic they need to be done but we can't do them today we are too busy... I asked to escalate. The lady I dealt with initially was very friendly and apologetic, it was explained they were understaffed like all industries at the moment which I'm sympathetic to.I then get a call when we come to pick up the vehicle with the bill, the manager I speak to sounds completely over it and burnt out. The conversation goes nowhere, I realise he just wants to get off the phone so give in and pay the bill for repairs I didn't agree to (with no brakes repaired) I ask if it's safe to drive as the brakes were my main concern and it's noted they are still within safe wear.My staff member brings it to my attention straight away they are still scraping and squeaking. We get the next available with our local mechanic that looks after some of our other vehicles shows me the condition and that it's now damaged the rotars.You take your vehicle's to these dealerships expecting superior service and a one stop shop. Turns out it's all looks.

Took my parado here to get repaired, paid a arm and leg to get fixed, got phone call to say it was all ready to be picked up, a couple months later my wife and kids were going home from and occasion to which I work FIFO, our prado breaks down on a low level traffic road at night and my family were really scared, my wife had to hold it together for our kids sake, anuways she got help from a lovely family and got our vehicle towed home, next day it gets picked up to take back to Toyota new town, and they were going to charge another arm and leg to fix THE SAME PROBLEM, so we took it back home and were ringing around for legal aid to help us out about this, I have been in numerous contact with new town Toyota and they will not take any ownership to their warranty and guarantee of work to pay for out vehicle to get fix, I love Toyota vehicles always will…I am making contact beyond management to see if they can deal with this problem…..I did not mention that our vehicle had broke down twice on my family but that’s another story BUT the same problem, come on New town Toyota stand by your customers not against them
