I just took my puppy for a full groom today and was very pleased with the result. She looked much more happy and comfortable with the new groom. Would highly recommend for other dog owners!

Did an ok job of cutting my dogs hair but charged an extra $10 because my dog 'didn't like the hair dryer'. They seem to be able to charge extra for whatever they please. I won't be back.

Came here before covid pandemic to get my dog groomed, was not impressed with the end result as my dog looked ugly and was surprised by the price $100 - She charged me extra for fleas. I would suggest you to look at my dog firstly and give me a price before charging me extra at the end when I'm picking her up. Also I took my dog to another groomer shortly after to hopefully get a better result and my dog was so anxious that they called me to come collect my dog and this never happens. It clearly is caused by this groomer's work that my dog will now need to be sedated to get a groom. It is heart breaking. I'd like to also add that this grooming salon for the price is not posh or elegant. When I used to take my dogs to get groomed in Toorak, Melbourne, I was charged $70 maximum and it was a very luxurious well-renovated salon, however this salon is overpriced and looks so old fashioned that it should be charged $40 for the service provided. Not a fan and will not be returning clearly.Edit (in response to owner): No thank you. I don’t need you to address the problem as I’ve found a better alternative solution. I’m using YouTube videos on how to groom my dog myself with a fantastic grooming set from Amazon. I recommend everyone to give it a go. It’s easier, cheaper and you won’t ever have to worry about being disappointed in your dog’s hair cut.

We always (and our dog included) always get excellent service -our dog can be a little snappy when frightened , but he is always taken very good care of. They do a very good job-we are extremely pleased with their service. Thank you!!!

I take Poppy here all the time to get her cut just like today I had an appointment at 11am. I dropped Poppy off and usually it only takes 1hr so she should have been finished by 12pm. I go to pick her up and I get a message that She won't be done until 1pm.At 1pm I go to pick Poppy up and I walk in and there is this Full Size Poodle looking stunning, cut so well. Poppy walks out and it looks like nothing has changed from when I brought her in to the Salon, except for she is shaved.Nothing was done, her ears weren't shaped, fur around her face wasn't groomed or shaped and her fur is uneven from the shave.I feel Poppy was pushed aside because of this Poodle and I will not tolerate that when I'm paying a lot of money to get my dog groomed.Poppy will not be coming back.

He's been given a really amazing haircut and was really calm in the salon. The staff at Hairy Tails are friendly, professional, and respond to messages very fast. I'm very impressed and incredibly grateful for the wonderful work you've done with my dog.

I took my puppy Poppy into her first haircut at Hairy Tails Ashgrove and I was very impressed with Poppys new haircut! Kathy did exactly as I asked and gave her a summer clip, without any fluffy legs or ears. Poppy was super happy on pickup and I was told she was very well behaved! Her clip is awesome and I am very super happy and so is my pooch!

So happy with our Groodle's hair cut yesterday - we have just moved here and I was nervous about taking her to a new place but we are really happy with the results and she looks great. The staff were friendly and listened to what I wanted. Charged 120 but her hair was quite long and she is a large groodle (35kg), I rang a few places and that seems to be the cost for her so I wasn't surprised by it.
