the absolute best almond croissants you will ever have! i've tried that many almond croissants from everywhere - including hyped up trendy bakeries, but emma's are just amazing. flakey and buttery, and absolutely oooozing with almond butter. so so good. worth the drive if you're not local!

Waiting in the queue for 35 mins was not a problem. Being told that their 'Square' wasn't working and that we'd have to do a funds transfer or pay cash, also not a problem. We were told to look at the menu on their website, calculate what we owe and transfer the money to save time at the point of sale. I had just enough cash to buy what I wanted, but told a different price when I was served, i showed her the price list and she said that post was out of date....not my problem, you advertised your product you need to keep it up to date. Nevertheless, I purchased some items and only mildly satisfied with them. Will I shop there again? No. Would I recommend my family or friends to go there? No, I would suggest somewhere else, and there are a few bakeries around. I'm disappointed.

$16 for two pastries is certainly up there

I had an excellent customer experience with with Miller's Local Bakehouse!! Even being currently in Canberra, I called up the business to organise a gift for a friend and despite being in Wollongong, Emma was so so accomodating. Was a hectic morning for the business but she delivered the goods right to my friend's doorstep and they turned out to be beautiful pastries, definitely worth the money. Lovely and easy to talk to, I would 100% recommend this place!

Travel from Sydney for these goods because it's just that good. The owners are so passionate about what they do and so so friendly.

Ordered a box of lemon meringue pies today as a lockdown treat and they were SO delicious. I have tried dozens of lemon meringue pies in and around Sydney and this one takes the cake. Punchy curd, thick meringue and super flaky pastry.

OMG. Just amazing treats. Emma's almond croissants, lemon tarts and gluten-free berry coconut and almond friands are unbelievable. So much better than anything else I've found in Wollongong. And I found it easy to buy direct. I just called the bakery, told them what I wanted and picked up from Crown St. Easy. And YUMMY!
