I traveled to Brisbane for a well earned holiday. Rewarded with a terrible stay in this hotel. Absolute horror of a hotelYoung man who checked me in had zero interest.Room aircon faultyShower no pressureBreakfast cold . Sat there waiting to be served 30 minutes .Expensive. Paid over 1700 AUD for 4 nights. Rewarded with level 1 roomAnd how good was the construction above my room at 0730 on my final dayDon’t stay hereThe staff don’t careZero Stars

It was a great room. Well laid out, spacious and clean. Coffee machine only worked once. Milk and water not replaced daily. Also when we ate in restaurant in a group, they would not do individual charge backs to our room. Most inconvenient for our work accounting purposes.

The hotel is a great choice for those looking for a comfortable stay. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The location is convenient and there are plenty of amenities on site. Overall, a pleasant experience.

Novotel Brisbane South Bank
We wanted somewhere close to stay as our house was undergoing major rennos. We chose to stay here for 1 night due to needing to stay with our newborn and toddler and the hotel having child friendly activities. I requested a baby bed in our booking but upon checkin the bed wasn't in the room so had to head back down to the lobby to re request the baby bed after lugging kids and luggage up to the room myself. The next morning we wanted to treat ourselves to breakfast sent to the room. Only one of the requested meals arrived (toast for the toddler). We ordered the meals to be delivered at the earliest possible time slot so my husband could enjoy before work but because the other meal didn't show, he didnt get to eat that morning. The staff were helpful with sorting out the meal to be re cooked and brought up to the room but the point of room service was so I didn't have to go down to the lobby and by the time the replacement showed up, my husband had already left for work. The kitchen staff looked through the door hanger orders but had lost ours, this could easily be solved if there was a way to order via the TV so orders don't get lost. Overall really unimpressed with our stay that was $300/ night.

Nice rooms. Clean and tidy. Lovely, helpful staff. Check in/out was easy. Short walk from south Brisbane train station and ferry terminal. IGA grocery down the road has all the little essential items.Good to see they've done away with the tiny soap etc..

Very comfortable hotel that ticks a lot of boxes. Nice on site bar and restaurant, comfy bed, well trained staff and good location between Southbank and the west end.Negatives: no minibar and not much privacy in the bathroom with see-through glass. This seems to be trend right across a lot of Accor group hotels and it’s getting tiresome.

Novotel Brisbane South Bank
Just wanted to leave a review due to the amazing experience I had with a staff member. Fallon, from housekeeping, made this trip extremely memorable and nothing but enjoyable. Always with a large smile on her face, she went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy for the entirety of our stay. Once again, thank you!! Would highly recomend and definitely come back.

Novotel Brisbane South Bank
It had been a good 10 years since my last Novotel stay, just long enough to forget how awful their beds are. It perplexes me as to why such a beautiful chain of hotels with brilliant service, great restaurants and facilities, do not invest in better bedding.We loved everything about this hotel, staff, location, etc. But unfortunately will not be back until I forget how awful their beds are again.If not for the beds, they'd earn a 5 star.

Novotel Brisbane South Bank
I've stayed at many Novotel hotels and this one has been by far the most uncomfortable one. The rooms have been renovated so they're clean but they're very tiny. The room we had was meant to accommodate 4 people with 2 double beds but it only had 1 chair. No balcony, and not even a pair of chairs for 2 adults to sit and share a drink. The view from the windows was below average and depressing and I personally felt like a prisoner. The hotel apparently has a small parking; we were told to park our car at the convention centre, which was only a short walk away (possibly the biggest advantage of this place). That's not very convenient when your car is in a separate building and you remember you've left something behind in the car. Overall, we had a very unpleasant stay. Not worth the money
