The 2021 Menu are so thoughtfully designed. I like how they ply around the taste and texture. The contrasts between them are so perfectly matched. Highly recommend the charcoal cheesecake and Ruby Puff (i personally think that the puff can either be more crunchy or puffier).I have with Astonish for 5 years, but this new menu does give me more reason to come back:)

A hidden gem for dessert in Adelaide!! Both taro and cheesecake dessert were amazing, not too sweet and not too dense. Prices are affordable for the size and quality they are serving! Would want to come back to try other things!

It was not tasty to eat the red velvet cheesecake and golden gaytime waffle with ice cream we ordered. Red velvet cheesecake tasted like cotton candy, not cheesecake. The golden gaytime waffles did not taste like golden gaytime, but rather like caramel ice cream with a hint of sweetness. It was our expectation to eat a delicious dessert, but we were very disappointed. In spite of this, we have been told by friends that their cake is absolutely delicious, despite the fact that we haven't yet tried it.

The desserts look amazing. Lots of effort taken to present them perfectly. Unfortunately the moffle is tasteless really. It's beautiful and colourful but only tasted sugar. The desserts ordered by my friends also looked appealing and they enjoyed them. There are vegan/vegetarian options which is a plus.Nice atmosphere, colourful and quirky. The savoury menu is limited but I guess most people go there for the treats. Prices were reasonable. Service was fairly quick.

Small shop decorated with its quirks. It has quite a variety of items on the menu with savoury food as well. But have only ordered the sweets there. The presentation is well done. Great effort put into it. However the flavours are not quite there. The Thai milk tea waffles are really thick and bit dry. Need a lot of sauce to finish them. It's quite a big portion to make it worth the price. It's basically a meal itself. Popcorn was stale. And I don't know what that piece of stale thin cracker looking thing was.. It was inedible. The strudel creme brulee was interesting invention, but very little strudel bit. Flavour is not bad at least. The taro ice cream was delicious. But the donuts were so dry and unpleasant to eat. A big hit and miss with the menu items.. But they look like they make good birthday cakes.

The dessert was good but nothing to brag about. Very aesthetic presentation. Everything other from the ice cream was kind of room temperature which felt abit weird to eat (it was a very warm summer day). I came very early so it's was very relaxing and quiet, so an extra star for the nice relaxing atmosphere

Desserts have beautiful presentation however the flavours are slightly lacking. I had the Apple Strudel Creme Brulee however the Apple flavours didn't come through very well. On a busy Saturday night after dinner we waited an hour for our order.

It was a bad experience for me and my partner, we came to celebrate her birthday, we plan to have a happy ending for the birthday at this shop, but it did not happen. We ordered a taro dessert and a popcorn chicken, the dessert was good, but the chicken was terrible, we reckoned the chicken has spoiled and had a wired taste, so we could not finish all of them, it was my first time to waste food as I could not swallow it from my throat. I hope I will not get sick from the chicken I ate. I will not go back anymore.
