Smithfield Laundromat

We have used Smithfield Laundromat a few times during the last 12 months [mostly for bedding very hot wash] always pleased with the washing machines & dryer results. A great location at Campus Shopping Village only a few minutes from home.Prices for laundry & dry reasonable.

Paid 9$ for a regular wash and had to pay 2$ for washing liquid that was not included.Machine are very easy to use and signs are very clear.

Brand new facilities that are well maintained, the place is sparkling clean and there is onsite assistance during the week until lunchtime. They have also started doing a wash, dry and fold service which is very handy if you're short on time. Most machines have tap and go card payment, all machines accept $1 and $2 coins as well as tokens which are available on the interior green door. You can drive right up to the door as well which is handy if you have kids or dogs in the car as you can run straight in and out without getting wet (it's all undercover). The detergent dispenser takes $2 coins and has fabric softener as well. No change is available from the laundry or nearby shops but I found the tap and go card payment pretty easy anyway.

We are travelling around Australia in a caravan and constantly need to wash our clothes in laundromats with varying results. I saw all the bad reviews for this place and thought no way. But there was nothing else close by. So gave them a shot. Firstly they were a little expensive, $10 per wash. $7 to dry . But the guy there was very helpful. The clothes came out perfectly clean and dry. He even gave my wife some very helpful tips. I couldn't fault his service. Hence the 5 stars. I don't know what these other whingers are going on about. I would use him anytime

some of the dryer's are broken five out of five the cloth's are still wet and sometimes the cloth's smell like pee and our basket's get stolen and the Landry detergent gave us reaction's

Gauging all the negative reviews, they are all from some time ago (2-4yrs), either the laundromat has new management or the owners have made a proactive effort since 2yrs ago. Nevertheless, this is the only laundromat between Brinsmead and Port Douglas, so I'm glad I found it.My experience was great, large selection of machines and every machine was super clean, easy to navigate with my credit card and dried my linen.The space was super neat and tidy! They even have anti-bacterial wipes for those who think you're going to catch covid ha!Will definitely use again in the future.

A lot of my clothes and sheets came out with big yellow stains on them. I’m not amused. Please clean your washers and fix this problem! Not going here again.

The layndramart is very good. Opened till 9.a.m makes it very convenient. The smallest wash coat only 6 bucks which is plenty enough for average Joe. I think it's very convenient. You all should use it

Recently renovated, so ignore the old reviews. Every machine has card facilities. Very clean and easy to use. There is one extra large machine for mattress toppers, duvets etc.My only criticism is you need a $2 coin for detergent, would be good to have card facilities for detergent too.
