Loved this mall. The parent room was clean, had seating and a gated area. This was the only reason we had a relaxed lunch. There is a little indoor play area again gated. And another due to be built. It's an interesting place with lots of food options.

American diner type food. The shared bbq platter was tasty. Good service. You can order digitally using a barcode on the table. Highly recommend trying the aoli sauce. Very buttery and smooth.

Title: Unfortunate Experience at the Food Court: Safety and Noise ConcernsReview:My recent visit to the food court left me disappointed and concerned due to several issues that I encountered. First and foremost, there was a constant and annoying sound blasting across the food court, which significantly affected the overall dining experience. Moreover, what made matters worse was the lack of proper personal protective equipment (PPE) being used by the operator, who repeatedly put his head in harm's way.Let's delve into these concerns and discuss reasonable reasons for such unfortunate circumstances.1. Disturbing Noise:The relentless and bothersome sound that reverberated throughout the food court was incredibly frustrating. It not only disrupted conversations but also made it difficult to enjoy a peaceful meal. Although the exact cause of the noise was not apparent, it would have been beneficial if the management had taken appropriate measures to investigate and resolve this issue promptly.2. Lack of Proper PPE:Equally concerning was the operator's disregard for personal safety. It was disheartening to witness them repeatedly putting their head in harm's way without utilizing adequate personal protective equipment. Whether it was due to negligence or lack of awareness, this situation raised valid concerns about the operator's safety and the potential risks involved.Reasonable Reasons:While the aforementioned issues are undoubtedly problematic, it's essential to consider potential reasons behind them:1. Technical Malfunction:The persistent noise could be a result of an unforeseen technical malfunction. It is possible that the management was unaware of the issue or faced difficulties in resolving it promptly. In such cases, it would be reasonable to expect a formal apology from the establishment along with an assurance that steps will be taken to rectify the situation.2. Training and Oversight:The operator's failure to use proper PPE may be attributed to a lack of training or oversight. Perhaps they were not adequately educated on safety protocols or were unaware of the risks involved. It would be reasonable to expect the management to address this issue by providing additional training and enforcing strict safety measures to prevent future incidents. In conclusion, my experience at the food court was marred by a persistent, irritating noise and the operator's disregard for personal safety. While these concerns are certainly valid, it is essential to consider potential reasons behind them, such as technical malfunctions or inadequate training. Nevertheless, it is crucial for the management to address these issues promptly, offer apologies, and take appropriate measures to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for all customers.

Lovely playground. Safe , pretty, fun but only for younger children. My granddaughter is 3years old going on 4 and needs more challenging equipment.

Very popular with families. Good parking and lots of stores are not available in other northern areas.

I'm really disappointed by the new playground. It's only suitable for really little kids, so now older children have no where at the centre to play. I don't understand why they got rid of the inclosed playground there. Whilst it would have been better suited next to a coffee shop, it was perfect in what it was. Most age groups could play in it and it was enclosed, so little kids couldn't run off. As a parent of a runner, it was great to have a place where they could pay safely without having to chase after them all the time.

This was my favourite shopping centre from my teenage years and I've been coming here since the 80's. The way it has evolved has been interesting to watch and it certainly has benefited from the changes. Having said that, I can't help but feel that there could be so much more done to enhance the place.Since covid it seems to have lost its spark and after the harder times the food court feels almost defunct. This part really needs some life breathed back into it to get back some of its former glory. Whitfords should have a look at how other centres have enhanced their food courts and get on with it. It feels like they've just put their energy into the restaurants outside. The shopping centre does have a good variety of stores and a reasonable amount of parking available (Christmas can be a bit painful however). Overall it's reasonably clean and presentable although the toilets could really use some extra attention.Overall it's a pretty good retail experience and for a customer that has been coming here for 40+ years I think that says something.
