Montessori House Fulham Gardens

My wife and I are absolutely delighted our son has been fortunate enough to attend this unique Centre. Since he started two years ago, he has been thriving and is made to feel really welcome. He is learning and developing so much and has built a special connection with both the educators and the children. My son is now four and a half years old and uses English as a second language. Still, he can already read and write most of the phonetic words, which surprised his primary school teacher by writing his name on his name tag and reading English books aloud in his school transition program. Before he entered Montessori House, he could not even speak a word of English! There is nothing but pure love and care for every educator we have come across - not only for our son’s needs but for our needs. The attention to detail given to our son is so appreciated. And the atmosphere is calm and peaceful while observing happy, content, healthy children engaged in what they are doing with their educators and peers. The facilities are always clean, and constantly updated, and the communication between staff and parents is excellent, via emails, newsletters and in person. This place is special. No wonder they are reviewed exceptionally highly on the national quality standards. We are so grateful we searched for it, found it, and the timing was right for everyone - it was meant to be. This is my first google review, but I felt so compelled to write this because I know a lot of parents care about their children’s well-being and development as a whole, so I wanted to share my positive experience in the hope others could experience it too.

Montessori House is a home away from home for our child. My experience from the minute I toured the centre has been exceptional. Elsa and her team are caring, passionate, loving, accommodating and treat our child like their own.The staff are highly qualified mature educators with years of experience. The needs of our child are a priority over everything else. They are vigilant when dealing with any sickness or incidents, we are notified immediately, and our little girl is cared for whilst waiting.The Montessori curriculum is as authentic as it gets. The staff are genuinely committed to the Montessori method and work tirelessly to meet the best outcomes for our daughter.Montessori House children thrive when they start school as the preparation for their social, emotional, and academic development is outstanding. I cannot recommend this centre enough. Once you walk through the doors, you never look back!

I believe that any child that goes through Montessori House at Fulham Gardens has an amazing opportunity for the first part of their life. Each child has their own needs an all teachers respond to them in the correct manner, making sure each child is valued during their time at Montessori.

Our family has been part of the Montessori House family for over 6 years, all our 4 children have attended Montessori House at Fulham Gardens. The management is truly committed to an authentic Montessori curriculum, the facilities are second to none. High-quality Montessori materials, furniture, bedding, outdoor equipment and the classrooms are immaculate.The children have a real sense of belonging. We highly recommend Montessori House Fulham Gardens. It is a beautiful learning environment with an extensive curriculum. Our son speaks positively about his educators and has become more confident in the short time (6 months) he’s been there. We love the personalised one-on-one time he receives, and their online system Transparent Classroom is excellent for following our boy’s progress. They have a little community vibe, regularly organise events and we’ve met a lot of parents this way too. Great place for kids.

If you are looking for authentic Montessori learning, amazing facilities and equipment/materials as well as an incredible team of educators, Montessori House is your answer. This centre has been accredited and is the real deal unlike many other early learning centres who claim to deliver authentic Montessori learning. Elsa is committed to providing the absolute best to all children and families and you sense that from the moment you meet her and her incredible team. Our family has been part of the Montessori house family for 4 years now and we cannot recommend it enough. Teaching is based on an individual learning approach and the educators are so very skilled with this. Our son absolutely flourished during his time at the centre. Since beginning primary school, his teachers are astounded with his maths, reading, and writing skills. Montessori house has also encouraged and supported his inquisitive approach to learning. This has provided a strong foundation for him at school in terms of confidence and his school is now further challenging him with extension programs. Our daughter joined Montessori house in the Mini Monti program and is now in her final year. She also has a love for learning and is well prepared for starting school next year. The routine followed at Montessori house has assisted her with getting into a routine at home with homework as well. The educators motivate the children and our daughter is so driven to practice her sounds and reading when she gets home. Communication and parent involvement at the centre is brilliant. It truly has the family feel and we are forever grateful to Elsa and her team. The best benefits come from fulfilling the program and having your child graduate. Our advice is to absolutely trust the staff - they know what they are doing and they have your child’s best interests at heart. If you are looking to provide the strongest foundation for learning to your child/ren, you should consider contacting Elsa. Once you have a tour and learn more about this approach to learning, you will appreciate it and understand how beneficial it would be as the compulsory preschool curriculum. It truly is a privilege to have our children complete the program.
