Fresh pineapple juice was great, bacon was perfect. Coffee strong, a bit bitter, watched one guy send his back, barista may have been in training.The pancakes were delicious but the 3 scoops of ice-cream drowned it out and meant it arrived cold. Not enough for a meal without the ice-cream so felt a bit $$. One scoop of icecream and slightly larger pancakes would have made all the difference. Menu also stated with fresh berries but not sure 4 tiny fresh blueberries on the lemon curd and not even 1 whole strawberry counts. Berries are in season and really cheap at the moment so was disappointing too see it on the menu but not on the plate. Dish disappointing when it seemed to be a highlight on the menu.Overall atmosphere and service were both nice, would return but wouldn't order pancakes again.

Super friendly and helpful staff. The food was delicious and good sized portions. Delicious range of housemade drinks including fresh juice and iced tea. Will definitely be back

Stumbled across this cafe from an online review, and it looked so good we had to come visit! The interior is absolutely gorgeous, and on the beautiful day that was, it was so nice to sit with sun peaking through the windows. Such a bright and fresh-feeling cafe!Wasn’t too busy when we arrived around lunch time, and we were seated fairly quickly. Plenty of free parking underneath the centre. First impressions from the staff were a bit mixed, and we didn’t get a friendly feel from them. Regardless they were super efficient and pleasantly served us.We ordered a cappuccino, decaf vanilla ice latte and the avocado salsa with flat bread special (forgive me I have forgotten it’s menu name). The coffee had a unique smokey flavour and although good, it wasn’t my style. The iced latte was delicious, and syrup was perfectly sweet. I really enjoyed the meal we shared, the flat bread had a subtle curry taste and was so tasty paired with the guacamole and sour cream sauce. It did however lack some substance, and almost felt like a snack more than a lunch meal. If you’re looking for something light, this is perfect!Overall, I’d recommend Hey Joe Coffee and Co to others and hope to be back to try their other menu items. I see from their page that their open late, which is definitely a plus as not many cafes are! ⭐️

Amazing coffee, beautiful food, love the service. Everything about this place is 10 stars. Highly recommend to all foodies to mark this place as the go-to brunch hot spot in Brisbane.We will definitely be returning to this cafe. ❤️And the figurines by the windows! Added personality to the cafe and we love it!

My breakfast was very over priced for the quantity and quality. My pumpkin was severely undercooked and when I raised the issue with the server, male server said something as he was walking away, and when I asked him to repeat it, he turned to me and said “I’ll take your word for it”. Not a pleasant experience at all. Would not recommend.

Absolutely adore this place. Main reason Indian influenced food. I tried the spiced pumpkin dish today ordered with extra chillies as I like hot spicy dishes. The dish comes with a poached egg but doesn't really need it as the servings are very generous. My partner tried the lamb mince which had a beautiful salsa beneath rich tasty potatoes & meat with Indian bread

Can't recommend this place enough. Genuinely the best coffee I have ever had. Perfection in a cup! The feta hash browns were so tasty and lovely mix of flavours. Finally the staff are incredible. So friendly, efficient and really welcoming! A real credit to the establishment. Go try it for yourself, I guarantee you won't be disappointed
