They use excellent high quality rose water and ghee, do not expect excellent service but you will love the smell of the sweets when you enter the shop and will enjoy the flavour of the freshly made sweets.

the sweets were delicious! and not too sweet except for the Nutella filled baklava it was simply too much Nutella- coming from a person who loves chocolate/Nutella, however, the store has beautiful decor and the sweets are packaged beautifully. unfortunately, the lady who served me was not the friendliest and was abit cold when responding to my questions which put me off when leaving the store.

If you're looking for some delicious Lebanese sweets, then the Ammoun Sweets is the place to be!But there's just one problem - the workers seem to have misplaced their smiles. Maybe they're saving them for a special occasion? Or perhaps they're just lost somewhere in the kitchen amidst the sugar and spice. Either way, don't let that stop you from having some sweets. Who knows, maybe a smile will magically appear on your face after that first bite.

Very expense. Staff not generous. Sweets not the greatest tasting. Halat Aljeben hardly has any cheese in it (full with rice). Their mashakel hardly has any varieties as shown in the picture. There was no more than 3 varieties whereas if you purchase from El Sayed in Liverpool the varieties are much more, more generous and far more cheaper. Unfortunately won’t be a dessert shop I shop at again. Thumbs down.

Bought baklava from here. She said I packed it this morning. Should have been a give away. Pastry was not crunchy or sweet at all. Won't be returning

a highly recommended place to satisfy your sweet tooth and allow yourself to experience lebanon through desserts. this place also makes my family members feel nostalgic of their home country due to its authenticity.the food quality is outstanding and is evident that it’s made with love. although they sell a range of desserts such as baklava, knafeh ashta, halawet el jibn, shamiyeh, namoura, etc. i was recommended to try kaak knafeh - which is knafeh inside a lebanese thick sesame seed bread. it was delicious and i do encourage anyone to give it a try.although i got delivery, word of mouth state that the employees are amazing people and i do remember some of them from a while back. they’re generous and take pride in their store.i can’t wait to see what the future holds!
