PD Insurance

I am a current unhappy DP car insurance customer. I requested the company to cancel my claim and provide a letter to confirm the cancellation so I can deal with the other party's insurance company. I contacted PD 's by phone a few times, each time I waited for more than 20 minutes and eventually hang up. I sent several emails and received no replies. I also used their chat service a few times, all I got were apologies but no action. What 's a blackhole. I will not recommend PD for car insurance and will seriously consider switching to other insurance companies which can response to my request promptly.In PD response below, they said that they tried to contact me. I am not sure how, I received no replied email, no phone call, no SMS...How did you try to contact PD Insurance ? :(3/6/2022: I cancelled my insurance policy with PD today!

PD insurance are easier to deal with and I have been with them for a few years now

Hi everyone,Please be aware of this PD Insurance!!I got comprehensive policy from this company and that is included a hire car . When I involved in an incident I contact PD customer service team, they were trying to get away by paying me AUD 2000 to fix my car, When I said what if it costs more then that? Then they told me to drop my car at a repairer and pick up hire car on my own PD dose not provide any any taxi or Uber for their customer so they can pick up and drop off hire car, also PD gives hire only for the first seven days. customer needs to contact PD after seven days for another seven days to extend that’s it! No more than 14 days no matter how long it takes to get your car fixed even though pd can guarantee weather the car is going be fixed in one week or weeks. But I decided to cancel my policy right away without fixing my car and I will better go somewhere else to fix my car. Customer service level is way too low more then you can imagine.on the time of buying the policy the customer service was next level ,when it comes to fix my car I am the one to get frustrated and finally gave up without fixing my .Bye PD insurance!!!!

Cheapest Comprehensive insurance on the market. You get what you pay for, honestly.Phones take more than half an hour to get connected. The phone staff are pretty friendly, but the rest of the company works far too slowly. I'm 2 months into a claim and no progress has been made.As far as insurance companies go, there are far better companies out there. Pay a bit more and find better insurance companies out there, because this company has honestly let me down.Respectfully, the staff are great. The company is not.

Absolutely the worst insurance ever. After 3 months of stuffing up my claim on their end and multiple “system errors ” along with not being sent basic paper work like invoices and claim details being sold an excess buster and told that I wouldn’t have to pay an excess only to find out after the fact that I have to pay and extra $1000 excess because I’m under 35 which means if I didn’t have an excess buster standard excess for under 35 is $1800! Absolutely absurd considering my claim was for a minor bumper repair after backing into something. Stay away from PD

Really appreciate the help from the team. They only spent ten days to write off my vehicle and pay the claim. Very happy for their service. I will recommend them in the future.

I do not think I have ever had to write a 1 star review before, but here it is. I have been receiving unsolicited spam emails from this company ongoing for weeks. I have never once enquired or reach out to them, so there s no reason for the emails - especially ones that read 'following on from our last contact' and 'your last chance' in the title, but no content in the body of the email - just attachments.No legitimate insurance business would reach out like this. Be wary!

Warning!!!!!I never write a bad review for any of the organisations. However I want to warn and remind people not using this insurance company based on my horrible experience.There is no process in this company and they can just random and make an unfair decision on behalf of you, with no transparency, no communication, which cause traumatised impact to me and my family. They wrote off my car without my permission based on incorrectly information, and most importantly for the whole process, I was not engaged, until they listed my car on the WOVR. It was too late for me to resolve anything by that stage.A terrible company you will never want to deal with them!!!

Do not trust, they are very shonky,after cancelling my insurance they still withdrew my money,Afca are now involved to recover same still waiting .

These guys are unethical thief's! Don't use them!! Kept texting me to say my renewal was coming up and if I wanted to renew to call them... I didn't ... then they text a week out and told me they would be charging my card for renewal if I didn't contact them, when I tried to cancel the phone rang out then when I tried to cancel online they wanted to charge me $50 at the end of my contract period!! Only way to get to speak to sometime is via the new business phone option. These guys stink
