Morisset Chinese Takeaway

Ordered lunch a few just months ago and had to throw it out , fried rice was so salty it was inedible. Gave it a second go had curried chicken , tasted like they forgot to put in the curry just a pale cream .won't give a 3rd chance. the front of shop was so dirty and messy , can only imagine what the kitchen looks like , such a shame.

Ordered curry chicken last night (29.07.2021) & was very disappointed with the food. The curry was a pale cream colour & had no flavour at all, let alone curry, which I think they may have forgotten to add. Advertised as hot but definitely not. Haven't been here for a few years, thought would give them another go, won't be eating their food again.

The best Chinese in the whole of Lake Macquarie! I have tried just about every single dish and I cannot fault them at all. And staff are always accommodating and compliments to the lady chef you are brilliant!! Thank you and hope you will be around for many years to come x

BEST CHINESE... full of flavour, always so fresh and containers are always full to bursting. The premises has had a full on makeover and looks fantastic... friendly staff and little perks if you spend certain amounts as well. It's taken me like three tries to get a photo of everything because my family devour it as soon as it comes through the door. So to sum up... YUM

I've been going to this place for years and have never had a complaint... good food, fresh ingrediants, reasonably priced

Firstly they aren't located in Morisset like the name suggests which we didnt realise until we put it into the gps. Secondly the food was very ordinary. The chicken did not taste like chicken and there was way too much onion in the Mongolian beef.

If I could give zero stars I would have. This was the most disgusting Chinese food I have ever had. Wasn’t even edible and even the dog I have spat it out. Raw peas and carrot in fried rice, sauce was creamy and cloudy when it should have been dark and the meat was certainly not bought this week.

Late on this review as I ordered a while ago. Nevertheless I highly recommend this place. Ordered beef flat rice noodles and black pepper combination with rice. The noodles were coated in delicious sauce and the beef so tender and flavorsome. The black pepper sauce was delicious and every element perfectly cooked and fresh. The portions were HUGE, it's amazing how much they can pack in to one container. The noodle dish itself could easily have fed two people to completion.Been here a few times and never disappointed. I have spent time in China and even close friends with a Chinese chef who has owned a restaurant for 20 years. Eaten at so many different chinese places around Sydney and Asia and this definitely is at the top of the list, especially at a reasonable price. Lovely service too. The best local takeaway by a mile. Do yourself a favor and try it yourself!
