Photo taken as lightning struck at midnight. Broad expanse of carefully mowed grass in suburban residential Boolaroo/Speers Point. Generally empty but not peaceful due to close proximity of heavy traffic. Used for a couple of hours here and there by junior sports activity which generates parked cars which irritates local residents. Regularly used for dog walking but, by golly, clean up afterwards. Dining and drinking options available at the adjacent Boolaroo Bowling Club which should be referred to only as The Bowlo when in local company. Remove your own rubbish as bins are not available and local residents care very much to preserve their undirty neighbourhood in the well cared state they keep it in. The oval is also known for large flocks of noisy white birds who all fly off at once, disturbing my Mother's viewing of Neighbours (TV).
