Ben is absolutely amazing! He was such a perfect fit for our wedding day! Not to mention he was so loved by our 3 year old. Everything about him was great, his attention to detail, his personality and wow the photos. We loved Ben!

Ben is the world's best photographer. Hands down you will not find anyone better, he is a legend. We first met him when he shot my best friends wedding, he was such an amazing human and so incredibly talented we knew if we ever got married we would book Ben. Ben's personality breaks through any nerves you may have and youll not only feel confident in front of the camera, but youll be laughing and having so much fun. Half the time you will all be laughing and talking and have no idea he is capturing the most perfect candid shots. Every single guest at our wedding asked how we knew Ben as they assumed he was a guest and good friend who brought his camera, they all just loved him! My biggest wedding, or general photographer, recommendation is to hire Ben - both Ben and his photos are next level amazing!

Ben Howland was on top of my list for wedding photos two years ago, unfortunately he was booked out for my wedding day. I really love his work and asked if he offers pregnancy/maternity photo session. He kindly offered and drove 1.5 hour to the Killcare Putty Beach.It was a pleasure to communicate inspirations. Ben was flexible to reschedule the booked date due to bad weather.The shooting experience was excellent and the photos are amazing! On the day, Ben arrived earlier and checked the time required to drive between two shooting spots. He's so well prepared and professional so that we could get most of the photos during the short period of sunset time.I would highly recommend Ben to anyone for wedding or family photos!Almost forgot to mention, I was super impressed by the speed of receiving the digital gallery! (I was expecting within one month, but he delivered in 1 day!)

Whay a magical day. We are so glad you could join us on the day. You won over our friends while you mingled and took candid snaps. You really captured all the moments of the day. When Ben says to make 20mins for sunset photos do yourself a favour, get those magical photos and take the moment to check in with your husband/wife. We first heard about Ben from our venue. It wasn’t until we spoke with him that he told us he had only shot there once before, so the fact the venue had recommended him after that one time must speak very highly of him.And boy, are we so glad they did (especially as he wasn’t local to the area, so there is no way we would have found him otherwise)! As soon as we saw Ben’s portfolio, we knew we had found our photographer. Not only does he create the most amazing, candid and natural shots, but he is super nice and easy going - we both felt like he was an old friend!It’s the small moments which Ben finds that makes him so good at his job - the kid that’s cringing at the first kiss, the look of pride beaming out from a grandparent, the spontaneous bridal party group hug at the end of the aisle or running to the best vantage point to capture the last rays of light. All small, yet significant parts of our wedding day that would likely be missed and forgotten about as time goes on.We also liked there was no pretentiousness, no awkward posing and no waiting around while he changed lenses or cameras (even our photographer friends were impressed!). Ben had everything ready to go at his fingertips, meaning we had more time to spend with our guests (or attending to our upset 5 month old!).We cannot thank you enough for making the trek to Kangaroo Valley to shoot our wedding. Booking Ben for our wedding was one of the best decisions we could have made. Not only was he easy to deal with, with great communication, he was also just a stand out person on the day who felt like a friend by the end of it all. He fit in easily with our guests, making everyone feel comfortable and capturing some amazing memories for us throughout the entire day. Our photos are absolutely incredible and we still pour over these almost two years later. We loved Ben and his style so much that we recently booked him for a portrait style maternity shoot, and the photos are just as incredible as our wedding photos. Ben is absolutely amazing!!!We had a portrait shoot before our wedding with our daughter which was a lot of fun and we are so glad we did it and have the best photos from it. It was so lovely to be able to meet Ben before the big day and have no time restraint like on the wedding day, allowing us to just be in the moment as a family.Our wedding day was made even better, actually the best, because we had Ben there.
