Oaks Mackay Rivermarque Hotel
I booked via Qantas which was the only issue.. the staff onsite were very helpful in resolving the Qantas issues.. room is great now, close to everything.. the restaurant is currently closed which is disappointing.. will be back (hopefully it's open by then!)

Oaks Mackay Rivermarque Hotel
The hotel itself is nice, but the rooms where not that good, especially when you are laying $200+ a night.Two of the rooms we booked, both had the bed, closer to the door, springs broken, this is likely the mattress being super old, and it's hurt my back. Switched the other side the bed to sleep, likely as that the one where people sleep the least on.Otherwise, the front desk staff are friendly and easy to find parking, and free parking in the hotel.

Avoid! Avoid!! Avoid this horrible hotel !!Long story short - no lights at the swimming pool, water is freezing cold (including spa)! Advertisement says that hot tub is available but in reality they don’t even have them!You literally pay double amount for bed, tv and shower! Any motel has all those but you would pay twice less !! Check out is at 10:00 am and if you want to check out later it’s $20 for every extra hour.Disgusting Oaks !! Never staying here ever again !! AVOID AVOID AVOID ! ! !

Great location but fairly basic accommodation. The hotel rooms are small & pokey. The bathroom light didn't work & the smell from the drain was gross. The tv remote control was so dirty I didn't want to touch it!

Great location in Mackay near to the river and shops.The apartment was great, plenty of room and a very comfy bed, plus a great view of the Pioneer River.Check-in we were greeted by friendly service, highly recommend the hotel.

Oaks Mackay Rivermarque Hotel
We only srayed here for one evening but the accomidation was great. Plenty of parking and it has a high carpark which worked well for our ute with the swag ontop. The restaurant doenstairs was shut but there was heaps of restaurants within walking distance. The staff on the front desk were very friendly and gave us some wonderful recommendations for the local area.

Love staying at any Oaks Hotels! Great location, friendly staff, so exceptionally clean, comfortable breezy room, secured parking, sizable gym, very quiet, could be great for a longer stay. So sweet walking in with calming music already playing and Air Con at the perfect temp. Would definitely stay again and again !

Great clean rooms with an awesome view. Only downside was the air conditioner wasn't working the greatest.
