We had a really great time tasting the delicious figs. Despite the rainy weather preventing us from picking the fruits ourselves. Very highly recommended.

I visited today and can’t recommend highly enough. David and Alison were so accommodating, we walked through the fig trees and sampled all the jams and chutneys, and they told us all about how they became fig farmers! If you are in orange this is a must do even if there are no figs to pick!

Delicious figs, great jams, paste and chutneys. The orchard is run by a lovely couple, definitely stop by if you're in Orange.

As Sydneysiders touring the countryside with young kids, we bumped into this place on a drive in the bid to get the younger one to fall asleep in the car, which she did, and which we were pleasantly surprised - not by her falling asleep, but by the orchard.Trust us. We drove in and drove out too. It looks more like a junkyard than an orchard, at least to city people who have only seen idyllic orchard photos on computer screens. But don’t be fooled by it. We drove back.David and Alison were pretty laid back - which suited us so badly, as we were clueless. David took some figs from the fridge for us to try, and I know it’s the real deal with the first bite - it’s nothing like the store bought one. It tastes like summer but with constraints. It’s fragrant, juicy, tender and sweet, but not overpowering. It’s so real. I asked sheepishly if it is still in fig season, and David said yes, as figs are summer fruits. We were the only customers on a Monday afternoon during the school holiday. We picked some figs in the orchard, tasted and bought a few bottles of the fig pastes and dried figs, and then waved goodbye to David and his cat whisky. If I’m not writing this with the figs in my mouth, I’d think it was a summer dream. It’s too nice. I’d recommend a visit if you love figs.

Owner David was fantastic showed us around early in the morning today. We had a lovely chat and David explained things to us. David even got us this green variety which we had in WA before. We were so happy. There were delicious. We picked some lovely Figs as well and we bought ofd of jam and paste. Full respect to David and other farmers and produce providers working so hard under uncertain weathers and situations like covid. I wish David and wife all the best and we would love to come back again next time we visit Orange.
