i had a lovely experience at this salon. The male hairdresser gave me an amazing scalp massage while washing my hair, i was so relaxed i did not want to get out of the chair! The haircut was just a trim but he listened to what i wanted & did a great job. He was a very pleasant young man to chat with too. It makes up for the last haircut i got from another salon in the same area, she did not listen & it was terrible. This is my new favourite hairdressing salon!

Went here after lockdown to have my haircut after almost a year and they delivered such great service! I was running a bit late and they were very understanding about it which I really appreciate. My hair looks so good now. Cant fault their service-staff are nice and welcoming. A special thanks to Meaghan who styled my hair!

I've been coming to this place for almost 10 years now. The owner gives really good advice on style and colour. High recommend.

I feel terrible leaving this review because my hairdresser was so lovely and all the staff were very sweet, and all the good reviews about the staff are true. Which is why I’ve given it 2 stars.I think my experience was an unfortunate once off especially according to the reviews for suggar hair which said the people were great and the price was reasonable (which made me want to come to this salon in the first place) and I just got unlucky. But I have to share it (and I've been told by multiple friends I should leave a review)Firstly, when I arrived there was a 20 minute wait (which I don’t mind since obviously it’s a popular salon) but it meant I was the last client, so from there on things felt a bit rushed.Secondly, my hair is a quite bleach damaged since I attempted doing it during quarantine, which is the reason I went to the salon to get it done properly and reduce the damage I’d do if I did it myself again. I also understand bleach damage is difficult to work with and perhaps my hairdresser did her best.I showed her picture of what I was after (which I've attached) and was looking to have my roots done with a darker colour and toning to get a similar colour to what I was after. I was told my roots wouldn’t be bleached but sections of my hair would be bleached for a more consistent blonde (which is what I was after), and because she’d need to bleach it there would still be some additional damage (which I understood and that was fine), and the hair would be toned to remove the yellow. Again, all good.This review is mostly due to the cost of the service and the result which I don’t think deserves that kind of price tag.I was also told the cost prior, which was a surprise - $340. This was for a cut, colour, olaplex and toner. Though my hair is damaged, I wasn’t expecting this kind of price, mostly because my hair is barely shoulder length and would need minimal product and styling. But I trusted my hairdresser and if that gets me a good quality end result I’d be fine with the price, so I went ahead with it.Unfortunately, the result was streaky, uneven, with random bands of bleach which looked like it hasn’t been toned or even coloured at all. Sections of my hair also hadn’t been evenly cut and my friends pointed out the random sections of orange at the top of my head - with how it bad it looked they were shocked that I’d paid more that $100 for it. It took about 3 hours (my appointment was at 4pm, they began on my hair at 4:30 and completed at around 7:30) and was also only blow dried straight so not much styling really. If I'm being honest, it looked worse to when I'd done it myself (I've attached a photo of the hair I had initially, that I did myself)I know hairdressers can’t get your hair looking exactly like a picture you show them, but the result looked nothing like the picture I was after (which had a darker blonde colour at the roots lightening to a light blonde with a balayage effect - which is why I thought the price was so high). Instead it looks like I had bleach slapped on randomly in sections with no toner or additional colour added.Since I had the appointment in the evening, I couldn’t see the full result until the morning and couldn’t let my hairdresser know - I was also the last client and felt bad for having her stay back.But I’m very disappointed with the result and have since had to pay extra money to get it corrected.Again, I’m sorry to leave a bad review since your staff are lovely, but the outcome was definitely not worth that insane price tag. I'm not sure if I could get any compensation for the cost - probably not - but just thought I'd leave this review here.

Terrible experience, I went there asking to make my hair silver, and they said they could do it without any problem.They destroyed my hair and charged me $110. When I asked them to apply any color they said no. Maybe they are good at cutting man hair but they have no idea about doing hair color.

Good haircut service. The staff are really polite and professional. Very satisfied with the haircut.

Got a great haircut and dyeing from Dana.Exactly that I wanted it.! Listened to what I wanted and delivered a beautiful result and at a very reasonable price. Didn't take forever like some places!

Eric is awesome and I definitely recommend her!Been there multiple times and have found great success in cutting and styling my hair to the way that I want. Great service, location, and decent pricing with a consistently good outcome every time. Sometimes there can be waits as it is quite popular, so I would suggest making a booking beforehand.
