Swanport Reserve
Probably the quietest reserve in the Murray Bridge area during the summer months. It's a great place to throw in a line or bring the kayaks and paddle across to the wetlands. There is generally a large amount of yabbies amongst the granite boulders and island as well.

No jetskis or speedboats launching from here. A lot of kayak and canoers. Shade, toilets, tables, quiet setting.

The reserve has the remnants of a wire fence that needs to be removed along with a prickle bush and a dead tree which could pose a threat if it falls down.

Wowza! Huge flock of hundreds of long-billed corellas are now calling this home.Noisy but at least they don't bug you for food or try to steal your fish!Still a nice place for a picnic on the river.

Used to be a wonderful reserve with lush green grass and a great swimming beach. Unfortunately there hasn't been much up keep on the reserve so it looks terribly run down at the moment. I know the local council have just reinvested some $$ into the area so i would hope within 12 months it could be back to the beauty it once was.

Very nice and well looked after riverfront reserve.The photos are from January. The lawn was quite dry despite the river flooding. Corellas were stripping the gum trees and making a nuisance of themselves any way they could.Should be peaceful and lush green during the wetter months.

Swanport Reserve
Nice riverside reserve with grass, plenty of shade, and picnic shelters. Long-drop toilets are clean and useable.Much of the river bank has reeds so only small section is accessible for fishing, swimming or skiing (prob not multiple at same time).
