About the Business
Wildginger Huskisson | Wildginger Huskisson is an Asian fusion restaurant & wine bar located on the beautiful south coast of NSW, Jervis Bay. We specialise in South East Asian cuisine and have been in the restaurant industry here in Jervis Bay for 11 years. Whilst predominantly providing a dining service, one of the other attractions of Wildginger is our wine bar and daily happy hour service.

We went in on a Friday for drinks before dinner at a nearby restaurant and loved it so much we booked in for dinner on the Saturday. Cocktails are great (the spring roll are bar snack is unreal too). We got the chefs banquet and I was a little worried because I don’t eat seafood but the fish dishes were prepared so well they ended up being my favourites. My partner let them know that it was my birthday and they gave me a free cocktail and added a sparkler to our dessert! So thoughtful and had a huge impact on our experience. The staff are so lovely and we loved the music too!

We came for dinner and ordered the chef's banquet which was really more of a degustation. The food was very good. My wife enjoyed her SAV blanc.The staff were friendly and quite busy as the establishment was full (always an indicator of good food).Service was quick.It bares mentioning that the restaurant becomes quite noisy with people trying to make themselves heard. There is not much in the way of sound deadening material installed. But this is a minor point. Altogether we had a very nice nightCheers and enjoy

Amazing food!!!! The Vegan banquet was the best and super generous servings. We were totally full and had to bring our dhal and rice home for a very yummy next day lunch. Service was professional and friendly considering how busy they were ( we realised later that we’d unknowingly come to Husky on a Canberra long weekend, whoops!).Sat outside which was cool and great for people watching. Absolutely recommend and hope to be back again in the not too distant future.

Pretty good thai food, though it was a lot spicier than I expected.Got the banquet option and got a very decent amount of food.Meat in the curries were cooked immensely well

High quality Thai food beautifully presented. The owners, Sam & Kelly, provide excellent service and Sam is an outstanding cocktail mixer. The happy hour between 3pm and 5pm is a bonus for pre-dinner drinks and snacks. Make sure you book for dinner as this restaurant is super popular. Highly recommended. A little more pricey than some Thai’s but worth it for the quality.

Came to Jervis bay with family for vacation, for our first dinner in town, we found Wildginger. The dining experience was exceptional. The environment was nice, good for a date night or just a casual dinner. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, we had some good conversations. Most importantly, the food was amazing. It’s south East Asian fusion cuisine which the dishes were very creative and flavorful. We chose the set menu with multiple courses and were Not regretted. Highly recommend to try out this restaurant if you come to jervis bay.

Book ahead and have a wild night out at wildginger @ hukisson. The restaurant & bar is packed with locals and tourist. In my opinion, Wildginger is in my top 3 restaurant to go in Jervis bay.The dinner menu is very simple if you have a group of 5 and over. Either banquet for $59 pp or 2 course set menu for $55 pp (Vegan option available). Lunch tapas menu available between 1-4pm, similar dishes to what you get in the banquet. My recommendation is to order banquet menu so you can taste a variety of food. (Desserts are not included in the banquet).Price: it’s fairly reasonable for both the portion and quality of food. Very happy with the food.Reservation is essential because it’s on of the busiest restaurants in Hukisson. I called and they said they were full booked, but then when we walked in at 5:30pm we were lucky to get an outdoor table.

An incredible experience at Wildginger, staff were amazing and efficient and there is a buzz around the restaurant. The food was incredible, highly recommend the banquet where you can taste every dish. You get a great selection and everything is delicious. They portioned the meals to cater for your group size and don't miss the mark! Left incredibly full with my tastebuds buzzing with incredible food flavours watered down with delicious cocktails.

Fabulous food and drinks.Visiting from the US. This spot has a great vibe. Delicious flavors, fun staff and fabulous green patch drinks. A must go to. We went three days in a row. Excellent happy hour 3-5pm too!
