En Japanese Bar and Restaurant
I have to say I completely disagree with the comments from tonight's entitled and clearly spoilt reviewers. We have dined at En Japanese for over the 10 years. Without exception the food is outstanding. The atmosphere is unique if eclectic and possibly doesn't suit everyone. However En Japanese is one of the best Japanese restaurants we have dined at including in Sydney and Melbourne. It certainly doesn't deserve such negative reviews from a petulant and over-privledged few....a hidden gem!!!!!

En Japanese Bar and Restaurant
Dined here tonight, our table of 7 booked at 6:00pm and ordered our food at 6:15pm and we proceeded to wait 25 minutes just for our appetizers to come, only around 6:55pm our mains finally came one by one after we complained as to why the food is taking so long to arrive. In the end we tried to ask for some sort of compensation, however the waitress said there’s nothing they could do with the time the food arrived as they were understaffed according to the waitress. If that was the case they should of informed us beforehand instead of making us wait endlessly just for our food to come nearly an hour after. Extremely disappointed with the service and the way things were handled when we made a complaint. I personally spent $30 for some mediocre spicy pork ramen that was not worth the money and takoyaki that was nothing special. In conclusion I don’t recommend this place if your looking for some good and authentic Japanese food, but they have a good variety of Japanese Alcohol.

En Japanese Bar and Restaurant
Have been a few times in the past. On this visit, they seemed to struggle with good staffing. Food took a while to come out and attention to detail was lacking. Our sashimi was not cut through totally, in fact none of them were, so we had to pull it apart by hand first. For a Japanese restaurant, attention to that detail should be paramount. Few items were also missing from what we ordered. The food however was very good. They could do better certainly and have in the past. Will go back, hopefully they sort out these issues.

Fantastic place. The staff are super friendly and made me feel welcome and comfortable eating on my own. The food was tasty and portion size was good. The sashimi was particularly good, thoroughly recommend.

Average Japanese dishes, only thing that stood out (after we ask for it again 30mins later) was Sashimi & Sushi platter, which was expensive compare to others but it's Fresh.Would highly recommend to give the floor board and odour of the restaurant a bit of Love. We sat at the 2 people table next to the bar, each time someone walk pass table would shake.

We booked for 6pm and ordered at 6:15pm. Food didn’t come until 7:20pm. We talked to the person at the cashier as to why the order took so long and they told us they were just really busy, however not all seats/ tables were fully taken at that time.Waiter didn’t even offered us table water/drinks and went straight to asking what we wanted to order. Customer service at the time was just not really good.For the food, I ordered a Japanese Karaage Ramen and got an ‘instant noodle’ ramen. It wasn’t the best and for the price, there’s way more better restos than can do ramen at this price range.2nd time back and it was way worse than my first time.P.S. if you like a casual bar to drink this may be it, but for a restaurant, just skip this.

By far, the utmost disappointing Japanese restaurant I have been to in a very very long time.A group of 7 had booked for 6pm. We arrive and we have our order taken at 6:15. No table water was served or offered.We get two of 7 dishes come out in about 25 minutes. Sashimi and spider roll.We were left waiting another 40 minutes for 2 more Udons, 2 ramen, miso soup and a teriyaki salmon RICE dish.I was very frustrating to sit by and have other people offer their food because they felt bad the others were still waiting for their food.If you can’t take or handle bookings more than 5, don’t. If you are, roster more chefs on.By far the most ridiculous service I’ve had in a long time.The food was all so average and the ramen noodles were literally 2 minute noodles and the rice dice was the size of my palm.

En Japanese Bar and Restaurant
Hidden gem in the southern suburbs with tasty side dishes and mains. Highly recommend their soft shell crab, tastes way better than sushi train and its crumbed perfectly. Sashimi was also of high quality. Had good ambience with lots of decor that gave a Japan vibe. Side street parking is readily available. This place is a great choice when you want good quality Japanese food but can’t be stuffed travelling to the city.

This is our first time dine-in this restaurant. Absalutely poor food quality. We ordered two ramens and cant belive they were instant ramen. Noodles are just poor quality instant noodles. They didnt provide chashu but boiled pork. Egg is not soft boiled and came up with a hard boiled half egg. I cant belive they charged 18 dollers for this very poor quality ramen. Absalutly dissapointed with thier customer service and the food.
