Great brewery with great staff and locals. The beer is just awesome. The food trucks are also a fantastic addition. Totally recommend Friday night music trivia. But don't tell anyone else about this place cause I'd be awful if the word got out about how good it is.

As a local who lives in The Gabba precinct, we recently have been testing the waters at Future Magic down the other end of the street. Happy to say both companies have great beers, but only Black Hops have a cool, relaxed vibe and excellent team.

Great for the weary traveller who just wants a wants a cold drink somewhere a bit quiet and out of the way. It’s actually quite warm inside despite the large front door even in the middle of autumn. I believe it’d also be pretty comfortable during winter. Only downside is there’s not much to eat besides the chips, so you should visit knowing it’s all about the beer.

We love coming here as often as possible. Great brewery, larger than HQ in Burleigh.Staff are always friendly and happy to chat.Beer range is always fresh and fantastic.Usually got a great food truck and I've never had an issue with parking

Great local microbrewery. A wide range of beers on tap to choose from. The bar tenders were efficient and pleasant. I tried a few beers, but my favourite was the choc porter - easy to drink and a really distinctive taste. Modern decor, with a minimalist industrial feel, and with some interesting artwork to add splashes of colour. The food truck was alright, but not much to choose from. If you live nearby would definitely recommend a visit.

I'll start by saying I'm a huge BlackHops fan but I suppose that is itself is a positive review. Other SEQ craft breweries may be considered better" but are more niche than this joint.If you're after easy drinkable quality craft ales

Fantastic place to have a beer and spend some time.Weve been going to BH for about a year now, with kids and sometimes even our dog.We always get a smile, a chat and a cold beer on Friday afternoons, even water for our dog!Thanks guys
