Silver Falls
Pretty easy to access, it’s mostly flat with some parts going uphill but not tooooo crazy. I think the beauty of the waterfall is directly proportional to the amount of rain there has been prior to the visit, as I can see amazing pictures in other reviews and it wasn’t that impressive when we went there!Anyways, for the type of walk and the easy access when parking at fern tree car park it’s ok but I would be a bit disappointed if I hiked all the way down from Mt Wellington just with the intention of seeing this waterfall.There’s toilets available at the beginning of the track

Perfect retreat. Loved that this little tranquil space also has a historical background. Easily overlooked but so glad we visited especially great if you have limited time

Small waterfall but the track to get here is easy and flat, so if you're coming on public transportation (bus) and get off at the usual starting point, just head west and you can't miss this place. Well, I guess you could, but you'd be an idiot. Sorry, not sorry.

The route to Silver Falls is marked as one if the easiest treks, I wouldn't call it 'easy' but it was beautiful, worth the challenge. Cute little waterfall at the end - lots of awesome photo opps, then your hike back begins! Rug up, it gets chilly on mount Wellington!

Silver Falls
Out trail running in Mt Wellington Park when I came across Silver Falls. There are a number of falls on the east side of the mountain and all are worth a visit. Silver Falls is just up from the Pipeline Track and is only a short walk up from the carpark at Fern Tree. You don't just get to see the falls but also all the historic structures still there from when they built the Pipeline.

Beautiful easy walk from the Fern Tree area through wonderful rainforest.Various other inviting trails around the area, nice informative map at the lower park area. Very pretty.

Silver Falls
A beautiful part of the mountain that is easy to get to. There are a number of walking tracks in the area ranging from 40 minutes return to over 5 hours.
