Mrs Kendells Accommodation

Stayed here for just one night on our travels. Was a bit of luxury in the heart of Ivanhoe. Was very clean and cosy. I slept really well, and now I want to buy those super soft bamboo sheets for home! Fridge is generously stocked with some basics for those who arrive late, after local food options close in this quiet little outback town. Sunset was beautiful from the verandah. Definitely would recommend staying here if you are in Ivanhoe and looking for accommodation.

One-of-a-kind accommodation in Ivanhoe

We stayed here in he Bungalow for a night enroute to Menindee Lakes. Accommodation has all you need and more. Great bed, modern ensuite, well stocked fridge including drinks and snacks. (Also possibly the largest outdoor old steel fireplace and chimney - great place to sit on a cool night with a drink.) Owner was very hospitable and with useful and interesting local advice re roads and the towns background. Just a short walk to the Ivanhoe Pub for dinner. Highly recommended.

Was so lovely infact that it was hard to leave and carry on with my journey, couldhave done with a few more days here. Think it deserves to be called The Hidden Oasis of Ivanhoe! Everything has been so lovingly and thoroughly thought out/prepared from comfort to luxury, even your kind food gestures/suprises after a long drive were so much appreciated. Absolutely loved my stay here! Beautiful decor, comfortable living, everything I needed! Thank goodness this opened, Ivanhoe needed this beautiful accommodation. Definitely the best in town!

Beautifuly renovated house and sheds to create comfort and homely feeling in the middle of nowhere. Great for self catering visitors. Fridge is stocked with food and beverages in case you arrive late and don't feel like going to the pub.Highly recommended.

Originally booked to stay at Mrs Kendells for one night, ended up staying an extra night because it was so beautiful. The rooms where clean and accommodating. Very welcoming and cozy stay. Amazing sunset and big fire. Would highly recommend stopping past the small town of Ivanhoe.
