I’ve been seeing Lee for over 5 years now. When I first started going to her, I was extremely vulnerable. It was one of the toughest periods in my life. Lee helped me recognise that there are things in the world I can and can’t control. She helped me work through everything that was happening, accept things that I wasn’t able to change and take charge of things I could. She also helped me recognise that my work-life balance was severely out of whack, and worked with me to ensure I was able to make time for myself. Over time I have developed an understanding what situations will trigger to my depression and anxiety, and with this knowledge I have been able to develop strategies that will help me get through challenging times. I have seen a number of psychologists over the past 20 years and Lee is the only one I’ve felt truly comfortable with. She has never judged me or made me feel bad about myself, but she has empowered me to become a better-balanced person. I couldn’t recommend her more highly.
