By far one of the most down to earth dojos I have ever attended. It has been a privilege to train with the various people who keep this community alive. If your ever looking for something practical which can help you along the path of life this is the practice for you. It is also a very powerful martial art which uses the principles of non-violent action to turn a potentially explosive situation into one of peace and harmony.

I have tried many martial arts over the years and I have never found one that has such a practical application to life. Described as moving meditation, aikido can equip you to confront difficult everyday situations, to harmonise with people around you and most importantly, it challenges and teaches you about your self. It follows a traditional Japanese grading system where you will learn new and more complex techniques, ZEN meditation and traditional Japanese weapons such as the bokken and Jo. Our sensei has over 20 years experience and is a master teacher. This art is perfect for women, anyone who needs to build self confidence and wants to harness their inner natural strength.
