It was a great relief to my sister and myself to deal with Mathers. My sister's furniture had been a long time in limbo owing to the liquidation of the original removal company.. Mathers were extremely efficient and prompt in locating the consignment and in delivering it safely to my home. The service was friendly, efficient and gave us confidence to use it again without hesitation.

In a very difficult context, requiring the move of a cumbersome and extremely heavy object, (a 450kg lithography press and assorted 50kg stones) the Mathers team worked methodically, slowly and carefully, very successfully. Their communication with each other was vital and saw the move through rows of steps, garden pathways and doorways. I am very grateful to the team.

The pack and uplift, storage for almost 12 months and then delivery and unload to my new address reinforced my choice of this Tasmanian business to entrust my stuff" to. At both locations the Mathers Team was professional

Andrew Mathers Removals is an incredible company to deal with, I highly recommend it to anyone looking to move.My Partner and I were living and working on a property in the Derwent Valley when we decided to leave this position and move closer up north to family. The Boss was very unhappy with our decision to leave and told us to get off the property the next day. I rang every removal company in Tasmania but no one was interested in helping us. When I spoke to Mark from Andrew Mathers Removals it was like speaking to a good friend and he was so willing to help. Mark and Mark both came out that afternoon and gave us an incredibly reasonable quote to pack the house completely, move it into storage for 6 weeks and deliver it to our new home.The following day Peter and Rick came to the house to start packing our things. I honestly don't think you would find two people more polite, respectful and understanding of our situation. Peter was so conscientious and kind throughout the day, helping us deal with the stress of the situation. We weren't exactly prepared for moving and Peter and Rick were so understanding, they left our bedroom and bathroom to last to give us time to pack the things we needed to take with us.The following day Peter, Rick and Thomas finished packing the whole house into the removal truck and we all left the house by 5:30 that afternoon. That was a 3 bedroom, 2 loungeroom house quoted, packed and loaded in under 3 days. A pretty exceptional effort!We were unsure how long we needed to store our items for but this was not an issue for Kim who managed the invoices, she was incredibly understanding when we needed to add two more weeks of storage onto our original four and every email I received was a pleasure to read.When it was time to move into our new house Peter, Chris and Pete were there to unload our things, they made sure everything was placed where we wanted and were very careful handling fragile items. Not one thing was broken or misplaced in our move. The Removals staff are an absolute credit to the company in every way, not only are they exceptional at what they do, they are genuinely good people. Kim in the office is thorough and great to deal with and Mark, Mark and Byron will do everything they can to make your moving experience as stress free as possible. From me, Alexander and our families, we sincerely appreciate everything you did to help us and we will continue to recommend you to anyone and everyone we can.

The team of 5 men to carry everything down to the trucks, and then 4 to unload the following day were all very professional, and careful with our furniture and possessions. Very pleased with the removal. Thank you to the whole team.

We were doing renovations at home and wanted everything in our lounge and dining area packed and put into storage to allow the painter and then the carpet payer clear access. Following a recommendation with a friend we contacted Andrew Mather Removals. We found them to be very efficient, the only minor issue we had was that they did not label boxes as they packed them so we had no idea what was inside each box when we came to unpack until we had opened the box. However, this was only a minor matter. Overall we were very happy with the way everything was handled. The furniture was moved with care and breakables packed soundly. They day everything was to be returned followed a number of days of rain. As they had to cross a very wet lawn to bring things back they put down drop sheets first on the lawn so they were not tramping in mud and wet footprints onto new carpet.

Mathers Removals were great to deal with.The guys went out of their way to be helpful, they were all very courteous, and made sure not to damage anything, asked where to put every single item in my new home and were quick and efficient.Would definitely recommend.

The guys were amazing, they did everything with a smile on their faces and every request was met with can do attitude. I have moved 30 times in my life and havent always used removalist, so i know just how hard it is and not one thing was damaged. Hands down Mathers are the best ive used and definately the cheapest professional movers around, highly recommend them to everyone
