If I could give my experience a zero I would. We were going to arrive in Chinchilla about 20min after reception closed so I decided to call and book a room so we could organise late check in. I could not believe how rude and abrupt the lady was who answered the phone. We do a lot of travelling and I have never in my life had an encounter with somebody so rude who works in hospitality. I ended up hanging up because the call made me so upset. I phoned another hotel in town and got a lovely receptionist who was more than happy to accommodate our booking and late check in.

Clean, tidy and with a comfortable bed.Good little kitchenette, TV, Wifi.Shower and bathroom were very good, with nice hot water and good water pressure.Staff were very approachable, friendly and helpful.Perfect if you’re in Chinchilla for a few days.

Chinchilla Downtown Motor Inn
I spent 9 days here as a base for work in the area. The hosts Graham and his wife are very accommodating and helpful. The rooms are large, clean and well appointed with large comfy beds. There are charge back options to the hotel for the local Club hotel and the Indian restaurant. The breakfast at the hotel is great and they do lunch packs if you're out on the road. They also provide a laundry service. A great place to stay.

Very large beautifully decorated room. Had the disabled room which the shower was extremely well set out also ramp at door for ease to enter. Smells so clean lighting is ample yet subtle not in your face especially in the kitchen area.Well done would certainly come stay again and will recommend to all colleagues and family and friends.

Room seems clean, location is good with various restaurant n grocers around. Shower is stronger and nice. Only 1 bit lacking is shampoo n soap. Very small amount is given. They don't give u extra when used half of the previous one.

This is exactly the placw you want to stay for work or holiday. Bright well equipped clean rooms. For those of you travelling with work there is a charge back service with a number of restaurants in town and they will sort out breakfast and a lunch pack if you need it. To top it off the operators are very friendly with great advice on the local area. I will definitely staying here again.

Rooms very large and clean. The King size bed was very Comfortable and must say, enjoyed a great nights sleep. Was on the second level where there was a nice wide veranda, place to sit and nice cool breeze. The Pool was on the smaller side, rectangle, but did the job intended for. Reception Staff was very friendly and efficient. Hotel is in a great locality. Just a short walk across the road to the RSL Memorial Club , where Family gathered in Function Room for casual Birthday Afternoon Tea. Also aneasy and lovely walk down to the Club Hotel , where we enjoyed a Great Dinner.
