Congress Yulara Clinic

So we are honeymooning here and wanting to set our wedding date on Valentine's day which is today and as we are from Melbourne the NT government has imposed isolation until Covid tests are deemed negative. We had our tests done on Friday by the Yulara medical team and when I asked the lady who did our test when the results would arrive she confidently said tomorrow morning latest afternoon." To which I was satisfied with which meant that I would be receiving results on Saturday and subsequent bookings and plans would not be jeopardized. Now it is clearly not the case and we will not be receiving results for another 3 more days which means we can not leave the door of our hotel room during which time. I appreciate all the staff involved in this black swan event doing their absolute best but such false hopes imbue much disappointment. I just hope that staff can be more accurate in their information or rather "I don't know" be better than giving false expectations. Also we called about 10 different numbers but we could not reach your clinic for updates on our results over the weekend and it seems as though you were not even working at all. We hope the government or managing body put extra emphasis and staffing on for these emergency times instead of wasting holiday maker's time and the income they would otherwise bring in to local tourism from activity bookings that had all had to be cancelled."

If I could give no stars I would. I had the misfortune to be ill whilst in Yulara. I went to the Medical Centre only to find Mon was a Public Holiday I returned Tuesday only to be told that there was NO doctor & the earliest appointment I could get was the Wednesday afternoon when we will have left. The Receptionists are of NO, that is ABSOLUTELY NO HELP, even though I am visibly ill & can't breathe properly. Don't get sick here unless you pre-plan it.

My 83 years old mum had a fall during a walk around Uluru and after a resting afternoon wasn't getting better. I took her to the medical centre. We were welcomed with great assistance, professionalism and cheering smiles. I would like to praise in particular Daniella and Christine who made it so much easier for us. Thank you

I took my husband there at short notice as he had become unwell while travelling in the outback. The staff could not have been more helpful, and fitted him in at short notice. We saw Dr Jill Bestic, who was friendly, caring, efficient and very thorough. The whole experience was very reassuring, and I am most grateful to them all - receptionist, nurse, doctor.

Thank you to Ambrosia and the medical staff that were so good to us when my husband had a medical episode, and for helping us get a site in the caravan park. It was greatly appreciated. I can't thank you enough. It has restored my faith in humanity.

A sincere and heartfelt thankyou to Merren, Quickie and all the Park Rangers for a phenomenal effort in getting me from Kata-Tjuta to Yulara in very tricky circumstances. Some brilliant 4 wheel-driving in the ambulance, so I'm told - thanks Quickie! On top of that, great care and compassion to get me back on my feet. Very grateful indeed for your expertise and kindness.
