This friendly little motel is a delight.The operators have taken a site with great heritage values and infused it with a strong sense of cool. Rooms are clean and well-appointed - with everything you'll need to start the day.My room's WiFi was slow but at this price point, 5 stars and a strong recommendation!

Stayed here for new years eve trip to swansea,great little place the old style set up has been beautifully painted and is kept very clean, stayed at another place across the bridge previously and was disgusting,will definitely be staying at the Black Swan again, from booking enquiry to checking in was nothing but positive

BlackSwan Waterfront Motel
We stayed for a few nights and thoroughly enjoyed the tranquillity and beautiful site on which this motel is situated. We had a small issue with the room which was attended to promptly by the helpful owner and maintenance staff. We felt welcome, and the owners wanted to make sure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The room was updated and clean and had everything we needed. Location is superb with local shops, amenities just a short walk or drive away! Will be back again!

Great location, on the water and close to all amenities and shops.Room was small & very average. This place needs a lot of TLC and some quality assessment by the manager and/or cleaners.Unlucky for us, on arrival, we went to another room for afternoon coffee, then found 1st thing in the morning our kettle, in room 5, didn't work for a morning cuppa before we left.The cold water tap in the sink of room 2 needs attention as it cannot be turned off properly.We will be checking reviews before we come again.

Rooms are alot smaller than in the picture's. Very small considering it said can sleep 3 adults. There was one tiny window that wound open about an inch. There was no ventilation so had to go purchase a fan from the shops as the aircon didn't work and was told it probably wouldn't get fixed. The fridge is half the size of a bar fridge so had to purchase an esky and ice as we were there for a few nights/days. For the price we paid to stay was honestly expecting a little bit more. Very disappointed.
