Penneshaw Beach
Beautiful beach off the coast of Kangaroo Island. I enjoyed a lovely swim there in the cool, clear, calm water on a warm day and I could’ve stayed for hours! Highly recommended for a pleasant place to swim on a warm summer’s day and a highlight of KI and SA.

Pristine, clear waters, clean air! We even saw dolphins whilst at the penguin lookout! Such a beautiful place to sit with your feet in the water while watching the wildlife, and the ferry come and go.

A nice beach to explore just before taking the return ferry back to the mainland. There's a few little areas to walk and see, or simply the beach to admire and relax. Car parking was limited and there are public toilets and a cafe nearby. Didn't see any penguins but there were quite an array of bird life in the area.

The road is easy to drive and to get there. Not busy beach. Perfect to relax in the water and let the kids free. Not accessible for wheelchair unfortunately.

Kangaroo Island is beautiful and the beach is beautiful and clean. The ferry trip is a wonderful and enjoyable experience. I hope you will try it
