Pearly's - Pearl Beach
We grabbed some takeaway hot chips and coffee here. Hot chips were crunchy on the outside and fluffy inside and made up fresh which was great. Coffees were a bit slow to come out even though it didn’t seem very busy but were well made - medium strength and good temperature.

The place really is a bit of a mess when it's busy. You seat yourself and got to call a waiter to clear the tables. Hopefully they can get more staff to accommodate better service in the future.The food was good, but not worth the hefty price tag. At over $30 a pop I expected a bit more than I got. Most of the food we ordered was bland outside of the burger which was saved by a good tartare sauce. I was adding salt to everything event my own chips.The mussels had a putrid smell to them but the sauce they sat in redeemed it a bit...Food came out pretty quickly and drinks were priced and tasted decent but presented very well. I love the anchor. The decor and cleanliness of the place was good. The pizza and steak looks pretty on the plate so maybe they would be better things to order.

I recently visited Pearl Beach cafe for a morning coffee and snack and was very disappointed with my experience. The cafe was dirty and unkempt, and the staff were unfriendly and unhelpful.When I arrived, there was no one at the counter and I had to wait several minutes before someone eventually showed up. The barista, who seemed bored and uninterested, was very slow in taking my order. When I asked for a cappuccino, she asked me to repeat it several times and was obviously unfamiliar with the drink.The cafe appeared to be run-down and neglected. The furniture was old and uncomfortable, the floor was sticky, and the tables were piled high with dirty dishes. It seemed like the cafe hadn't been cleaned in weeks.When I finally got my cappuccino, it was cold and tasteless. The snack I ordered was similarly unappetizing. The pastry was stale and the filling was flavorless.The prices were also expensive for the quality of the food and drinks.I will not be visiting Pearl beach cafe again and would not recommend it to anyone. The cafe is in desperate need of a makeover and some friendly and attentive staff. One staff member had a massive nose which also really threw me off.

What a lovely cosy beachside restaurant. Visited on a Saturday arvo and was hardly busy. Really crunchy fresh fries, good Tucker, good price!

While it's not beach front, it's extremely close. You don't have a huge amount of choice at Pearl Beach but you could do worst. Mostly standard cafe fair, decent coffee and service and a beach to saunter to afterwards.

Loved the resort layout, beautiful gardens. We didn't have time to eat as was only a stop over but would definitely stay again. Only negative comment is the room we stayed in needs some new carpet or wooden floor - lour daughter's room had wooden floor, and it looked amazing. The reception staff were lovely, friendly and very welcoming.

Very overpriced for the quality of food. Tables not wiped downOrdered the big breakfast, eggs overcooked the only enjoyable part of it all was the mushrooms. Had a horrible coating of oil in my mouth for a fair bit after, even after trying to wash it away with a drink! Gave most of it to my dog and even she didn't eat it and she's food obsessed!Wouldn't recommend and won't eat there again and I'm a local.After reading alot of these reviews nothing has improved over the last year. Seems management are at fault here

Pearly's - Pearl Beach
I want to love this place but often disappointed after going there. Today had to wait almost 20mins for coffee and two muffins and there was no one else in takeaway. The time before one night st the cafe we were seated 30mins before a large group came in but they received all of their food before us. Both times it feels like the staff don’t really want to serve or care. I use to come here all the time (4 times a week) but not so much now. Fingers crossed it gets better.

We went to have some lunch after visiting Pearl Beach where the restaurant is conveniently located. We had to ask for our table to be cleaned. The staff were not very available although we realised there were quite a few inside the back.We ordered a few fish and chips meals which came pretty quickly and were quite nice and fresh. About 20 to 30 minutes later we had to remind the team that our burger orders had not yet been brought. After 10 to 15 mins we received one of the burgers. After another reminder we still had not received our last burger. By then everyone else on the table had finished eating. We finally enquired about it for the 3rd time and asked for a refund which they processed for us. In summary - Food was decent, service was mediocre.
