Mrs. Fields Fountain Gate

I went and collected a gift box for easter here and the workers were absolutely lovely! they made sure I had everything before I left and let me take as much content as I needed to! The cookies were so delicious and my whole family loved them :)

I never usually make reviews but I couldn’t help myself but to. I’ve been a usual customer since moving to the south-east Melbourne and have always enjoyed your coffee and most of all the company of your staff. Just yesterday I’ve never been so upset at the poor services I’ve received. Yesterday i ordered a large coffee and 4 cookies and it took over 20 minutes just to receive my food and it was cold. Usually I wait around for at least 5 minutes, sometimes over but im always okay with that. Just this time it made me very very upset as when over 10 minutes went by and I had come to check on my order but the staff were busy chatting and laughing amongst themselves then when I asked about my order I was mortified at the attitude given by one of your young ladies. Definitely not coming back at all!!!

Ordered 20 milk chocolate Mrs Fields from a female server at 4pm 30th June (your supposed to get 7 free with that order). There was less than 15 left so was told they happened to be cooking more and would be ready in 15 minutes, no worries! I asked if I could have the majority of them from the freshly baked batch. I come back and they are already in their packet. When I opened them up in my car there were clearly less in the pack, only 21 and it looked like only 4 of them were from the freshly baked batch. Some were so small that they were only slightly larger than a five cent piece. Only about 1/4 were the correct normal size. Clearly the male working there had been making the new batch for himself and had taken off with them when his shift ended! Disgusting service, I can see why they went out of business the first time at Fountain Gate!!!

I visited Mrs feilds this Sunday after years. I loved the positive vibes and customer service from the friendly staff. My coffee orders are very specific but the 2 young ladies managed to make it perfectly how i like it. I will definitely come back for more cookies as they tasted amazing too.

Love their cookies, they're always fresh & they have a great variety. I became a cookie addict here guys.friendly staff who remember just how you like your coffee and the tase of my coffee was so good.Also I got surprised by their unique National NewZealand ice cream which was seriously the best in this area because of great selection of flavours to suit whatever taste you might fancy and for its exceptional quality.

Not in the habit of leaving negative reviews, but my experience today was definitely a 0 star visit.Ordered a few cookies for myself and a crossaint for my daughter. Lady serving was quite rude and preoccupied eating her lunch chatting with another worker so much so a 3rd staffer who was busy actually working had to point out to our server that the crossaint was well and truly done. Girl turns around after eating her hot chips with her hands and handles my daughters crossaint. I mentioned that it wasn't great practise to be eating and handling food without some hand washing in-between and I'm honestly surprised the girl didn't loose her eyes in the back of her head she rolled them that hard. Absolutely disgusting attitude from her, all she had to do was own it and apologise or acknowledge the mistake but no just a bunch of lip and a reassurance to me that I will not visit again, with all the other options only a little walk away you would think that customer retention and interaction were important.

Went to Mrs Fields Fountain Gate this weekend, must say the atmosphere and attitude of staff have dropped significantly over the past few weeks, not only that but the quality of their coffee and food handling. Asked for a flat white, what I got was what resembled dishwater in a cup, I think I may have had a few drops of milk, however it was undrinkable. The staff were consistently speaking in another language and as an Australian I find that offensive especially when there was also someone else working with them who couldn’t understand them. As for the food, don’t get me started on the food, aren’t you supposed to wear gloves? Aren’t you supposed to wash your hands? Jesus my 5 year old could have done a better job. I will never be returning. As for your staff member who rolls her eyes, I hope she keeps on doing it, she might find her brain back there and treat customers with a little bit of dignity and respect. By the way please teach your staff how to count, they do not know simple math and will short change customers, where do you think the extra money is going?
