Christmas World at Campbelltown

Had a sign up for lights at $60 when I payed for it noticed they had charged me $200 for the lights. When I told them they would only offer a store credit…after explaining that they have a sign saying $60 she pretty much told me too bad. Nice way of taking advantage on people in the Christmas festivities!

I won't be buying from this store ever again.... as a customer who has spent hundreds of dollars on stuff at this store and as a regular visitor to have my wife be spoken to the way she was by the owner of this company when we complained about the set of lights we purchased from you guys which was already broken when we went to use it.You have lost a regular customer as I will be taking my money elsewhere.It's a real shame as the rest of the staff are friendly and helpful but the owner was rude and obnoxious.

This place although beautiful is an absolute rip off do not waste your money! I went in store with my daughters and bought two items. When I went to the other Christmas store down the road I almost fell over at the massive price difference, I felt like I got robbed. Items that were at Christmas World were almost double the price of the goods at other stores, even Bunnings. When I drove straight back to request a refund on an item I was ripped off on they advised me they do not do refunds on change of mind. HAD they mentioned this at the point I was about to purchase my goods I would have not bought them as I was sure on the size of items I bought. THIS PLACE ARE ABSOLUTE SCAMMERS shop anywhere but here!

First time customer and had spent nearly $200 only to return home to find one of the christmas lights damaged. Returned back to the store within 2 hrs of the initial purchase only to be told that there is nothing they can do but to repair the item or to go back home and repair it myself, no opportunity for a refund. The lady was very blunt, dismissive, asympathic and in fact further damaged the product on inspection. After being questioned on whether or not I opened the box (which was obvious as it had to be opened to physically see and check the quality of the product), I answered yes and she instantly refused to provide a reasonable solution and told me they couldn't do anything with the faulty product. After showing evidence that the item was purchased earlier in the day and unused, the only offer was to replace with the same product however evidently damaged and repaired and in even worse condition. On refusal to accept this, was advised to leave a complaint. No customer should be forced to accept a damaged product or forced to repair a product that should have been new to begin with. I will not be recommending this place to anyone and have reported this to ACCC.

Xmas, a holy & loved season , celebrations for Xmas starts at this store.. For all items to celebrate a grand Xmas , all items need available under one roof....

I will never shop here again. Should be zero stars. I purchased a set of outdoor lights that the wires had pulled out in a section, brand new out of the box. The staff had the hide to tell me that I broke them! They kept my broken lights and kept my $65. Basically robbed me.

DO NOT BUY FROM CHRISTMAS WORLD.THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF WITH NO CARE AT ALL.I purchased a set of Christmas lights online from Christmas World. They were for outdoor use, when I received the product I found that the wires were exposed in one section and had been broken and someone had attempted to repair them (as can be seen in the photo) I then plugged them in to see if they worked, but they didn't. I then contacted the compnay by email and was asked to return the item for assessment, which I did. I was told that in the event they are deemed faulty, I would be able to recieve a refund. I posted the item back and was recived by the company on the 10th OF JANUARY.After multiple attempts to follow up via email, phone and online customer service forms, I finally got a reply on the 4th OF MARCH. They said that they will need to assess the goods. I emailed them again on the 11th, 18th and 21st of March as I still had not heard anything. I finally recieved and email on the 24th MARCH saying that they would not refund my money but were still sourcing a replacement as per their terms and conditions.I finally was able to speak to the national operation manager Karen Boland who was obnoxious, rude and completely arrogant. Refused to take any responsibility for the company sending out a faulty product.AGAIN, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

I bought a set of outdoor christmas icicle lights at Christmas world Campbelltown. They did not work from the day I bought them. They told me they would contact me in 48 hours after assessing the lights. I have not heard from them yet - it's been 4 days. I have tried calling multiple times and could never get through to someone. When i finally did, a rude and arrogant lady told me she can't help me as they are the online store and there are no direct phone numbers at each store since they are a seasonal store. I have also emailed them and got no reply.I do not live close the Campbelltown store so cannot travel there just for an update on my lights in case they will not refund or replace the lights.I just want the lights replaced with a set of lights that work or at least refund me my money!!!

It's a magical store, all the staff were friendly and helpful as well, and I got everything I needed with ease.

A store that does not have consideration. I have 2 boxes bought icycle lights and unfortunately, bought 1 warm light and 1 cool white instead of 2 warm whites. Tried to return the 1 cool white but was told I cannot return even though it's not been used.Poor customer service.
