Campus Kindergarten

Nice place for kids.

Nice location and active learning for children.

Our daughter completed Campus Kindy in December 2021 and we could not recommend it more highly. Amanda the Director has a holistic view of early education and the teachers are highly trained and experienced. They are gentle and caring with the children and they have created a calm place in a very green setting at UQ (see our daughter's favourite climbing tree below, the herb garden and the lovely shaded sandpit). They use high quality materials, for example by making their own playdough to using beautiful flower arrangements for painting inspiration with great art materials, large, solid blocks for building and strong and creative equipment for children’s obstacle courses. They are respectful and inclusive of people from diverse backgrounds (our daughter spoke mostly Spanish when she started). Children are included in planning their activities and they take time to reflect on what they have done. The learn about mindfulness, for example with different exercises and breathing techniques. I strongly believe my daughter is more resilient and confident because of the care and support she received at Campus Kindy. My daughter loved it and it seemed to me all the kids were very happy there! 10/10!

We cannot recommend Campus Kindy enough. Our eldest daughter finished Kindergarten last year, and she was so well prepared for her transition to Prep. Campus is set in a beautiful, natural environment and the children are encouraged to explore their interests with an emphasis on play, which is beautifully balanced by the embedding of the independent skills that are so necessary for resilient kids. The teaching team at Campus are passionate about childcare and raising responsible, creative children who will not only succeed academically but also positively contribute to society. The communication between educators and parents is exemplary, and the relationships that are built are very valued and last long after the end of kindergarten.

Such a great place. It is the first time that I see motivated carers and teachers who are keen to play and interact with the little ones. It is self reassuring to know that my kids are in good hands. Keep up the good work guys.
