Average pub fare, big serving size. Lovely beer garden and playground. Could do with heaters for colder months. What made the night stand out was the attentiveness - made an online booking for a small birthday dinner and there were balloons on the table on arrival. I requested ice cream for the birthday grandpa and it just appeared. The staff were kind to the young kids, and even offered to cut the balloons off to take home. Small touches that make life easier when out at dinner with young ones. The floor staff are to be commended.

It has been years since I was last at the koala, and the carpark is now a great looking play centre for kids. The koala has a new look with a great menu. The half chicken with chips was great, heaps of patrons & the food came out in good time.

Sarted fine looks like a nice place but when i received my meal i was highly disappointed at the quality of the meal the chips were the only highlight for the fist 5 minutes while they were hot but the slaw meh the chicken was dry n flavourless bland af sauce and the plate being so small maglde it hard to eat food without it falling of the plate would not recommend eating here made my complaint tho and they said they would let ppl know to do better

I have held a couple of functions at the Koala Tavern this year, and we are just so happy with the venue, service & atmosphere!Mel has been so helpful with everything from the lead up to each event, as well as always being present on the night, making sure everything ran smoothly.We are excited to head back in September for another function.The Koala Tavern is a great location for us & I couldn’t recommend Mel & the team anymore! THANK YOU!

Reno’s are lovely and the playground was a hit! Beer Garden outside really nice and spacey.Small suggestion of perhaps investing in some gas heaters for those of us with littlies needing to be near the playground and sitting in the beer garden.Food was great - the nachos and chicken I had were delicious, however I didn’t think the side plate of veg was worth the $12 and perhaps a drink with the kids meals would be a nice addition.The little touch of balloons on the table was very kind after we’d notified we were there for a birthday and thanks to the kind staff member who saved me from my poor planning with candles and a lighter!

Play area was really good and can see play area from the tables but the food unfortunately was appalling. rump was completely inedible and the charring on the eye fillet tasted like fish, like it was cooked on a dirty grill, chips were overcooked, sauces were ordinary at best. Went home and cooked up frozen sausage rolls!

Great place ! Excellent meals and a great atmosphere!! The musicians jam that’s on the 1st & 3rd Thursday of the month is excellent, if you play an instrument, then come along and join in the fun, or as a spectator just enjoy free live music while enjoying a great meal and a beverage!!!

We were at the Koala Hotel for the first time last night to see the Wolfe Brothers, who were great!. We had a meal before the show. It was very busy. The staff told u a the wait would be 1/2 hour. They proactively came and apologized for our wait (which wasn’t much more than the 1/2 hour we’d been told. The staff were all lovely and the meals were fantastic.
