NOTHING smart about this salon. I wanted a wash and blow dry. A lovely but inexperienced lady did my hair. I have long, thick hair. The brush she used was so small it kept getting caught up in my hair and she would have to pull/unravel it. She washed my hair with the smallest amount of shampoo/conditioner possible, constantly adding water to get it to go through. NO head massage! Zero! Nada! I only expected a little bit, just the usual, really.The “boss/owner” had left to go to Woolworths next door.At completion (with virtually no product in my hair, no spray, no smoothing serum - I’m not sure what she actually did put it but it only on the ends), I went to pay. She looked at the price list and said $95. I was aghast and she said “oh, ok, $85”. I did not have anything other than a wash and blow dry - nothing special - and I explained this was an extraordinary amount for this basic service. I had $60 cash which I paid and told her to get the owner to call me if she wasn’t satisfied with this amount. In the meantime, I went across to another (very busy) hairdresser and asked for a price for this same service. She looked at my hair and said “$55”.So the owner rang me, defended her price and thought $60 was not enough though she would accept it this time.NEVER AGAIN - do NOT recommend.
