Took mum here for a Mother’s Day dinner on Saturday night and was really excited. I’ve been to bouzy before and thought it probably won’t be so different. Ordered a glass of sparkling rose. It came out flat, asked the waiter about it and he told me it’s meant to be like that. I’m a very understanding person but I don’t like being lied to. It’s in the bubbly section and comes in a champagne glass it’s meant to be bubbly not flat like water with zero taste . Food was good mostly, the sardines were inedible, super fishy and swimming in oil. Croquettes, chips, olives and burata were nice and the shiraz delicious. Just really disappointed by being lied to straight to my face. If they had owed it and replaced my $18 “sparking “ rose i probably would come back but I don’t enjoy being gaslit. Mum had a busherman’s remedy which was in the cocktail section and it’s a hot cup of tea with floating herbs. Not a cocktail at all. She was really disappointed when she told the waiter it’s not really a cocktail and is misleading he laughed .

Really liked the vibe and look of the wine bar. The food was delicious and cocktails were also yum. However, the staff that served me didn’t have much knowledge of wines.

A beautiful venue with an amazing list of wines that are all available by the glass, the food was sharing plates that worked perfectly for the two glasses of wine each of us had when we visited.The team were very friendly and in a relaxed environmentThe varieties of wines were impressive and the bar tender was great at providing recommendations
