Stop Noise Double Glazing Melbourne - Soundproof Double Glazed Windows & Doors

Excellent product and fantastic, helpful staff. This was a great experience for us. We moved into our house recently and the front faces a road that can be very busy so noise first thing in the morning can be an issue. We looked in to replacing our windows with double glazing but having a large two store house the cost was prohibitive especially since we have some period windows. Stop Noise provided an excellent alternative. The noise has significantly diminished (not completely disappeared) so that I don't notice it and the seal Stop Noise put around the front door really helped too. Because many of our windows are old and rickety the secondary glazing really helped seal off drafts and provided a good deal. We're really impressed and would highly recommend. Thank you Stop Noise. The consensus is that double glazing is not a barrier against the low frequency noises of trucks and unfortunately I can confirm this is the case after having a window installed by Stopnoise in a brick veneer house with acoustic installation in the walls and ceiling. The window itself is well made. Maybe for general road traffic it may be practical.

We are on the main road and already have double glazing in the bedrooms but we were still unable to get a good night sleep as we could hear the cars go by. Contacted stop noise for a quote and I have to admit, I was a bit nervous on how the stop noise windows will end up looking. We arranged for a time on Saturday to visit their factory and were impressed by what we saw. On the day of install the boys arrived ahead of time and were thorough with their work. They took out the beading in existing windows and did that very carefully so it doesn't damage the window. The noise has reduced quite a lot and the windows look good too, we are very happy with the end result and will potentially be getting stop noise installed in downstairs rooms also. One happy customer and thank you to team at stop noise.UPDATED REVIEW:We were happy with the noise reduction in our bedrooms upstairs so decided to get stop noise installed in our study downstairs and also in our ensuite's little window. Our ensuite's window had an uneven frame and uneven space from the wall but Rob made sure the end result looked great. He got the window re-made and came back after a few days to install it. Rob was also very careful with our newly installed blinds while installing the stop noise windows. Like the last time, we are very happy with the end result both in terms of noise reduction and appearance. Got no more windows in the house that we need stop noise for, but will be definitely recommending stop noise to our friends. Thank you again.

We recently had six windows installed by Stop Noise. I must say we found all the staff and management very courteous and helpful. I've had stop noise installed at my home for about 10 years. I have a recording studio at home and the idea was to stop noise going out at night when I'm playing and to stop noise coming in when I'm recording. It's been a complete success. I've not had a single complaint from neighbours when I'm playing late at night and no problems with ambient noise when recording. Stop noise secondary double glazing is an excellent product and it still allows access to doors and windows so you can let fresh air through any time you like just by sliding the windows to the side. They look great too. I just now contacted them to replace a worn runner block on the bottom of one door which I use constantly and their response was excellent. The replacement will be in the mail today. Highly recommended.

We had our bedroom window double glazed , the reason was the loud cars in our street which would wake us starting from 5 am each day. We contacted No noise, had a quote done, the time & date was emailed to us. A couple of days prior to installation the time was changed from 10am to 9.30am which did not effect us at all. The two guys arrived at 10am and not the updated time. They were very friendly, very quick with no mess. The end result looks great, very happy with that.50 /70 % less noise reduction. Mmm no this is not the case. I would put it maybe 20/30%. We still hear the loud cars, car doors slamming, the dog across the street barking, even the birds tweeting. In saying this. the noises are slightly muffled. Yes, no doubt we will still hear the Garbos first thing on a Monday. I am disappointed.

If only all trades services were like these guys. Responsive, friendly, professional. Was impressed by the care that went into my StopNoise second window to blend it in perfectly with the original frame, and the guys even removed and reinstalled a blind for me better than the original installer did. What really impressed me though is that when the top part of the StopNoise window started slipping down by itself a few months later, they happily booked me in for another visit the following week which the guys punctually showed up to and got the job done - no issues since. Would happily recommend StopNoise to anyone.

I normally come on here to write good reviews for amazing service & products, this is the first negative review I've ever written.This Stop Noise window was installed some time ago, in an attempt to quieten traffic noise impacting sleep. While it has made some difference, it's minimal, and the noise still comes in plenty.However now the window will only stay less than halfway up, as per the image.After FIVE return visits to 'fix the springs', 'swap the springs' I am being told this is the best they can do. Stop Noise have blamed the company that makes the windows(?) - I asked if the springs are not capable of holding the window open can they please install a latch mechanism to be able to maintain airflow in the room, at a minimum, to which no offer has been made.What a waste of everyone's money & time - we're left propping a $1,600 window open with random objects from around the house!!
