We have now expended our off grid system and again very grateful for Goodhew’s knowhow and service. Now 40kW panels, 15kW peak consumption on batteries alone and 80kWhr storage so we can live off-grid and heat our pool, charge our Tesla etc without using gas bottles. I have used this company three times in the past 6 months to install new fire alarms, install new LED lights in our house and to do modifications to our electrical distribution system including the removal of old 240V garden lights. On each occasion the electricians allocated to do the work have been on time, polite and courteous with efficient communications and responses from the office staff. Guys did a great job all the way from the initial design consultation through to solar installation. At all visits arrived on time and were professional in their approach. At the end of installation, all aspects related to operation and maintenance of the solar installation were clearly explained. Would have no issue using their services again.

This is the 2nd time I've used Goodhew, the first 12 years ago and both for solar installation. 2nd time around was a reinstall via an insurance claim after damage to panels. The staff at Goodhew were extremely helpful with it all and made the whole process as stress free as possible for me. The fact that they are still here 12 years after my original install says a lot and I told my insurance company just that. Really happy with the customer service and new system and have no problem recommending Goodhew.

AVOID! Gavin Goodhew wrote he’d get a statutory declaration his company has NEVER given a 10-year warranty despite “10 years” written on the contract and was stated on his website, which is now removed. Disgusting, disgraceful service. Gavin is scheming liar who seems to hide from customers who make these warranty claims (false stat decs can hold up to 4 years imprisonment). Gavin runs the business and would not agree to talk, ignored our calls/emails and is completely non-compliant.Over email Gavin implied I had defrauded" the contract (Forging?) and said he'd get the stat dec despite “10 years” written on the signed contract. Not honouring the warranty is in breach of consumer law which I pointed out to him
